According to the original Reddit post, the sale applies to all games in the store, all week long (Novemeber 10 through Novemeber 16).

Though it's worth noting that the guy who posted everything does not work for Target.

Cod confirmed at 720p on Xbone and 1080p on PS4.

The fact that it's the same resolution as Battlefield, a technically superior game with a lot more players, is kinda baffling.

my guess is the dev kit and tools came in late which was part of the rumors. And they didn't have time to optimize. Probably take a couple of months to a half year if that to get it back on track.
I mean ryse forza so many games look great so I doubt it is the hardware can't handle it as it is the devs didn't optimize it.

Ryse is running 900p at 30 FPS and their struggles have been documented. CoD is a game that has to hit 60 FPS. Twitch gaming is like that. Forza isn't a graphic heavy game and they have had to make sacrifices (no dynamic lighting, no dynamic weather.)

Can't compare a First person shooter to a racing game at all. It is because the hardware can't handle it while running it at 60 FPS.

Microsoft Game Studios VP Phil Spencer -- the man who approves or rejects every single Xbox game there is -- stops by the Podcast Unlocked studio for an enlightening one-hour chat (starts at the 38:01 mark). He talks Titanfall, the future of Gears of War, the future of Project Gotham Racing, the next game from the creators of State of Decay, and much more.

Summary of somethings:

• Phil has the greenlight to buy any studios, but he's not going to buy a studio just for the sake of owning them. MS is perfectly fine with working with external partners who want to retain their independence (like Remedy, Crytek, Epic, and Insomniac). At the end of the day, the ultimate goal is to bring the best exclusives to the platform.

• Openly talks about Ryse's poor introduction at E3. Some at MS wondered if people would actually believe what they were showing was real gameplay, so they put buttons prompts in which made the combat look like a QTE-fest. Phil says he wasn't a fan of this decision.

• Ryse was running at 720p, 900p, and 1080p. 900p was the best tradeoff to make for what they wanted to accomplish in anti-aliasing, lighting, and other effects. He understands the passion and fixation people are having over resolutions currently, but thinks things will ultimately tone down a bit once these machines are out in the wild and people are playing and enjoying the games.

• Halo: Spartan Assault coming in December to Xbox One and 360. D4 in early 2014 (Phil says he likes to find developers who are trying to do new and interesting things). Kinect Sports Rivals in early 2014. Titanfall in March (thinks it will have a huge impact on both Xbox and PC). Wouldn't go into detail, but thinks people are going to be excited for all the stuff they have lined up for 2014 - next years holiday lineup is coming along nicely.

• Don't have a definitive XBLA plan for Xbox One. There won't be releases every Wednesday like on 360. Going forward and in the future, he thinks they can learn from things like Steam in terms of pricing and promotion. Thinks they can program the digital market more effectively than what they've done in the past.

• Excited about Class 4 from Undead Labs (State of Decay devs). There's been ongoing conversations about what they want to do going forward.

• Thinks controller based games from Rare are absolutely in the cards.

• Big fan of Halo Wars. Thinks there's an opportunity to do something more with it, but 343 is really busy right now. Would have to think about either doing it internally or finding a good RTS developer externally.

• PGR maybe has a future, but their kind of full in the racing space now. It doesn't make much sense to have 3 first-party racing games. Also, it sounds like the rumors surrounding PGR's return have to do with Forza Horizon 2.

• On the future of Gears of War: Thought they did a good job with Judgement, but doesn't think it hit the level of quality of the previous games. Would need to take a step back with Epic and think about where to take that franchise. Thinks it did kind of run its course so you would need to do somethings differently. Currently sounds like Gears is on the back burner and Epic is busy working on something else. Important people who worked on Gears are also no longer at Epic.

• Thoughts on PS4's lineup: Thinks Killzone will be a good game and thinks delays like DriveClub were smart and better than to force it out at launch if it isn't ready. Also he praises Sony's first party studios.

• Already focused on next holidays games and playing things like Sunset Overdrive with the team at Insomniac.

The only things I took out of that which I consider good and not PR talk.

They aren't like EA killing off studios and ruining franchises. Good on MS for that.

Controller based game from Rare? If it's a good re-visit of an old IP... YES PLEASE.

Gears is played out. Hopefully that's done being a thing for good.

Unless this is confirmed by IW it's all rumor. Same as it's a rumor BF4 Is getting a bump to 1080p on XB-1 @ release.

Who knows if any games will release earlier than expected. Some PS4 games got pushed up to 11/12 instead of 11/15 and Killzone is out now. There's may be a chance some Xbox games hit the shelves early.

I'm interested in what they do. Never got to buy State of Decay, but was one of the few zombie related games I liked.

Do this too. RTS games are better on PC, but I liked Halo Wars as a spin-off from the main series.

Either bring back PGR, or don't scam people with the car selection like you did in Forza Horizon.

Glad to hear this since that's how I felt about that series. Time for something new. Gears was a 360 thing.

Would be nice to see MS get to that level of variety and consistency (from a lot of them at least) this gen.

Good stuff in there. I'm starting to think I'll have both systems by the 2014 holiday season. Unless the XBO can announce a few things that would keep me to just them whenever I pick one up.

Exact same 3 I'm getting if Target has this deal for the One. Have Forza and 2k14 reserved at Gamestop...couple friends want COD since we have been playing that franchise forever. Im not totally sold on it yet but there is no way I could pass up free
