Re: Xbox One
Lol, these things are laughable at the point, if you say the xbone looks better you get killed..peolle are acting like the one can't have better looking games at all, thats just not the case at all, the One could have better looking games 3rd party and first party, not saying all the time, but people are acting line it can't happen

Unless they fudge the ps4 version on purpose, this isn't really possible with the specs of the system. Unless I am missing something.
Look, if you are anal about graphics and getting an X1 you are making a bad decision. The good thing is the X1 has grand potential in other areas. Which is why I still want one.YNWAComment

Re: Xbox One
It's ultimately going to be up to the development team, Ryse looks phenomenal and they state it's running at 900p. MLB the Show ran at 720 and always looked better than MLB2K which ran at 1080p.

Re: Xbox One
Not natively. There were very few games that ran at 1080p natively on the 360 and ps3.YNWAComment

Re: Xbox One
The PS4 is the better performer but I wonder if there's some diminishing returns here in terms of power. A 720p next gen game is still a next-gen game, afterall.
Overall it looks like the Xbox One version has more appealing lighting and a livelier color pallette, but the PS4 version is sharper with less aliasing.
According to a dice dev on Twitter, the Xbox One version is receiving some enhancements that may bring it closer to the visual of the PS4 version (like ambient occlusion). Unknown if the PS4 version is going to receive any enhancements.
I think what we're going to see is a lot of this going forward. Apparently the MS dev tools have been slow to come along, and it's caused problems for some of the devs. Now it appears that the tools (specifically to deal with esRAM) are mature and it's allowing some of these fixes.
So, while PS4 may yet outperform Xbox One in general, I don't think the differences are so great as to be a paradigm shift. The price point is a much larger factor.Comment

Re: Xbox One
The Ryse stuff has been primarily cutscenes though, right? All the .gifs I've seen have looked great but they werent gameplay. Maybe I'm wrong though.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Alot of it has been cutscenes but the gameplay still looks beautiful. IMO its 2nd in next gen graphics behind 2K14. KZ is a very close third. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I'm not just talking about the cutscenes, but the whole overall look of the game is crazy!
