Edit: From the sounds of it, Sony is going to be doing some backtracking of their own tomorrow. It must be Sony's time to shoot itself in the foot.Last edited by xcrushx; 07-25-2013, 08:09 PM.NCAA: Virginia Cavaliers

Oh well, we'll see what it's all about. They need 24hrs to get their **** straight it seems, before the public is allowed to know what exactly all this drama is about.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Doesn't it seem odd a rumor like that is only on that one site? Something as big as a potential downgrade of hardware would seemingly be running wild.
Could be wrong just doesn't seem to have much as far as legs unless I'm underestimating gamesthirst (never heard of them before).
I mean sure it has spread to message boards but you'd think others would be picking up that story.Favorite Teams:

It doesn't matter either way, we'll find out specifically what's up mañana.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I can't seem to shake the "want" for Ryse. Anywhere still taking pre-orders for Launch day, that won't "hold" the funds for a few days. I'd go the walmart route, but I've heard that they hold an authorization on the funds for 2-3 days to ensure that the money is there.Twitter - WTF_OS

Give it a few days before you're back in the PS4 camp.badComment

Re: Xbox One
No, I'm keeping the PS4 too. Ryse is the type of game that interests me though. That "era", hack n slash type. I don't necessarily think it's a $550 game. But if I can snag a preorder, I may do that, run through Ryse and sell it all before Christmas, lol.Twitter - WTF_OS

I would check out if a local Best Buy has any left, you only have to put $25 down and you can pay the rest off when you pick it up.Comment

Re: Xbox One
With me going all digital next-gen I am going to be very careful about what games I spend $60 on. I was all geeked about purchasing Ryse at launch but that may not be the case now because I don't know how much replay value it's going to have, I am waiting to here more about the online portion.
I like to trade in games after Im finish playing them, I would be salty if im stuck with games I am not going to play anymore after beating them in a short period of time.
So next-gen my strategy is to only buy games with high replay value (BF4, NBA 2K14) or very long single player campaigns (GTA V, MGS V, Witcher 3) and wait for other games to come down in price before I purchase them even if it's a year later.
So right now my new launch game list is...
BF4
NBA 2K14Last edited by ghettogeeksta; 07-27-2013, 05:09 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Unless they were to change to a model where it was just updated for a minimal fee from year to year but it wouldn't be profitable in the here & now. We know that isn't going to happen so I agree with you as far as sports games.Comment
