If I could do this, along with whenever MS pushes out the external USB drive support (so you can have game downloads/installs on that somehow) I would be very interested in digital gaming.

Along with better sales. Console digital games rarely see discounts, but stores discount games all the time and usually pretty quick.

As of now, the space storage issue, along with savings in store (Best Buy Gamers Unlocked 20% off new games, selling old games back) digital just doesn't make sense to me.

It sounds like such a small thing, but being able to move in and out of games without having to switch discs is such a good feature. I really do not care how they get there, hard copies with constant internet connection or a digital ecosystem.

Oh, I wish I could do it, and honestly I was a fan of the original vision of Xbox One. I think once people realized they could sell stuff back through stores and it would be pretty similar to current situations it would have been awesome.

Just not financially a good idea for me as of yet. Hopefully eventually it will be. I'm lazy, would be awesome to not have to change discs lol.

Hard copies should come with a digital download code. It would help people get use to all digital games and you would have the hard copy if you need it. Blu-rays do it so why not consoles?

I would love to make the switch but I always buy games at a discount and the digital purchases hardly ever match retail prices. The digital code would only be able to be used once so that would make retail games more desirable than the used games.

Can't do that with games because that type of community is more apt to maximize their purchases and share/resell/etc. Games are 3x the price point and probably lower profit margin than a Blu-Ray too.

I've only bought 'arcade' style games digitally for Xbox One, but was happy to pay full price for Madden and $40 for Lego Marvel for PS4 for the convenience of having them always accessible as games that I will play more than any others and/or well past their typical 'playing window'.

I keep an eye on the PSN store on Amazon for deals now, wish MS had a similar setup.

Yeah, you can't give free digital with every disc because I'd just buy the disc, use the digital, then sell the disc for 50 bucks. I'd own every game for 10ish bucks lol

I wish there was some sanctioned way to do that though, kind of like http://www.vudu.com/disc_to_digital.html

Exactly. I'd love if MS's digital store had a sellback option, and then a store where you could buy used ones cheaper.

I'd be tempted to do that then. I think that's where we're going. We'd be there now if MS had explained things better and the gaming masses didn't overreact. Maybe some compromise would have been possible.

you have to be a member? I have BJ's around me, not sam's.

Crap, wanted to pick up AC4, sold out online already.

Yes, you do need a membership. Some guys at reddit had success having Best Buy price match it by calling the local Sam's.

Very true. Each game could come with a bar code that has to be read by the cam. If you redeem the digital code then you can still resell but your digital copy will be locked if the code is used on another system.

Hey guys, l am sure this has been answered but I couldn't find it....does hooking your TV to your XBOX require that the One be on every time you want to watch TV?
