Not sure I see the point of comparing it to a single game, aren't these the two the biggest console launches of all time?

Re: Xbox One
Wasnt the 360 North America only at launch? Also when the 360 released the Xbox had practically no traction in any region other than NA. Back then Europe and Asia were Sony only.Comment

Re: Xbox One
True...still think 2 million for each console in relatively the same time period is pretty huge.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
X360 started production 69 days before it launched. They couldn't come close to meeting the demand (hence low sales numbers, couldn't ship enough units everywhere.) They took the same route the PS4 did here. NA Launch was Nov 22, 2005. Europe was Dec 2, 2005 and Japan was Dec 10, 2005.
The PS3 was an overpriced mess at launch, which also couldn't ship enough units (they had promised 400,000 for America but didn't come close to meeting that - they only shipped about 60% of what they had promised.)
Bravo to them on the higher availability, but the number of sales doesn't surprise me in the least.badComment

Re: Xbox One
I like both systems, want them to do well, and sales numbers for both are promising.
For whatever reason, there seems to be a dedicated group of people who badly want the PS4 to do well and are adamant about why the XBox One isn't great.Comment

Anyone else get the system update?
I apologize if I missed it, if this was already brought up.Comment

Re: Xbox One
There are people on that are doing the exact opposite too. Fanboys arent exclusive to one console.Comment

Re: Xbox One
It's not that big of a deal to me, so I'll let it go after this, but any semi-educated person can read this thread and PS4 thread and infer the difference.
I'm just happy using this thread as a way to connect to other people playing the XBox One.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I'm semi educated and I've read both threads. I've seen people bash the X1 in the other thread. I've seen people bash Sony in this one. What you may be seeing is the fact that more people have the ps4 on OS than the X1 but there are fanboys in each thread.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Like I said, I'm fine leaving it go. I am also fine with people pointing out the positives and negatives of each system in their respective threads. You just get more people trying to talk people out of liking the XBox here, which is a non-existent practice in the PS4 thread.
Take it for what it's worth, it's just an observation.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I have both systems. As of right now I prefer to play my PS4 over my XBONE. For whatever reason the PS4 feels more like a gaming machine which I prefer, while the XBONE feels like an entertainment system. I dont even use the TV stuff with my XBONE because my wife and daughter are scared to use it because they dont want to break it.. I just ordered an HDMI splitter so hopefully I'll be able to use some of those functions soon, I may actually move it to my man cave so that I dont have to worry about the splitter.PSN: duFFleBaG_rAn_

I'm doing the opposite, leaving the xbox one in the living room so my son can mess with it and keeping the ps4 in the den for uninterrupted The Show.Comment
