Re: Xbox One
I keep hearing people consistently make the comment or remark...PS4 feels more like a game console...WTF does that mean....
I own both and they both are game consoles, so my Xbox One having more features, makes it less than a gamer console, seriously?
And I keep hearing the same garbage oh the PS4 has better graphics, so I went that route, give me a break...it's hit and miss....and rotates both ways.
Multiplats
BF4 - Nearly identical, brighter on PS4 and more lighting effects. Xbox One version details are heavier and colors are more rich...
FIFA 14 - Darker on PS4 and 2% maybe smaller player models and polygon crowd....Xbox One version better details to everything, looks like EA played favorites.
NFS Rivals, colors and lighting better on PS4! Partical effects and crash effects better on Xbox One and colors are more dark...
Madden 25, almost identical, except Xbox One version is brighter and runs smoother and less jaggies, also loads faster than PS4.
COD - Looks 10x better on PS4 and running in 1080p instead of 720p, games plays the same - no difference in gameplay.
They both have the same exact 3rd party games, so making a statement it feels more like a gaming console makes no sense. That's where I don't get the logic.
I'm enjoying both, and still waiting on Second Son and MLB the Show 14, which were my primary reason of getting PS4. And of course the future The Order 1886.
Right now I'm playing both and rotating both, the only reason my Xbox is on more is because I'm game capturing with upload studio and I have more games on the XB1 at the moment. Same as I did with 360, I will use the PS4 for exclusives mostly as it is designed mainly for games only and right now the online for it is subpar BF4 online gave me grief and hardly anyone was on servers the first week.
But I'm online with XB1 at the moment playing games daily and doing more and more media stuff too, but doesn't make it any less of a gaming console.Last edited by Behindshadows; 12-12-2013, 07:03 AM.Comment

As I said the XBONE feels more like a entertainment focused system with gaming being secondary ie. roku or Apple TV.
That's just the opinion of someone who owns both systems and that's WTF it means to me. Not to say that's a good thing or bad thing, but I grab the PS4 controller more than I do the XBone. I'm sure it's different for others.Last edited by rawdog805; 12-12-2013, 09:01 AM.PSN: duFFleBaG_rAn_

Re: Xbox One
FYI... People should check their LIVE information here
Then Recent Activity. It tells you every time you or someone else has tried to access your Live account. Another site I frequent has members where their accounts have tried to be breached.
Wanted to give everyone a heads up about thisComment

Re: Xbox One
Well it means something different to everyone - so no one should get their feelings hurt when a person prefers one console over the others. If 10 people described what it means to them, it doesn't mean that's how you feel about it - so what does it matter?Last edited by bluengold34_OS; 12-12-2013, 10:41 AM.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: Xbox One
Well seeing as there are no other devices that can play games at the level of the PS4/XBone, those two were the closest off the top of my head. Lol.PSN: duFFleBaG_rAn_

Re: Xbox One
I don't understand why people think the XB1 menu is cumbersome or hard to navigate. It seems pretty straightforward to me.

Re: Xbox One
Some of this reminds me of the Windows 8 debates, problems like 'can't even figure out how to close a program' which then remains a talking point as if they never learned how to do it.
What specifically seems not well thought out? The giant window showing your currently active app? The list of apps below it showing all recent apps? The customizable pins to the left? The windows into the marketplace to the right?
The only cumbersome part of the One UI to me is the friends app.
