I'd actually be shocked if they don't.

It would be the perfect time for MS to ramp up sales of the XB1. One of the smartest things they did IMO was re-master the series for release next gen. It'll help move a pretty big number of consoles I'd think. You're giving people who may have been waiting to switch because they play the Halo series alot a legit reason now to upgrade to a XB1 and still get to keep playing the series.

I think there's enough Halo fans out there that may not be on an XB1 yet that would jump all over purchasing one when the MCC comes out, and especially if they do a special customized halo bundle.

Pachter was spreading a rumor that people should wait to by an Xbox One because Microsoft was going to have a really fantastic bundle or promotion this holiday season. Maybe he was working with Sony to stall Xbox One sales.

I haven't mentioned this because I've been away a little bit this month, but the snap controls in the October update are awesome. Seriously well done. Snap works so much better for me now.

I'm not in the preview group, but I'm excited as hell for the October update. When I play sports games online, I will send a "Good game" message 99% of the time, win or lose. It is a bit of pain to have to load the friends app and then look for recent players in order to do this. Being able to snap friends will make this a quicker and more painless process.

Snapping really is a fantastic feature, even though I never use it to watch TV. What I do use it for is snapping the Game DVR to select how many of the last 5 minutes I want saved. Thirty seconds is good many times, but often, I'd like something longer to set up the clip I am sharing.

Also, I love that the automatic clips stopped getting posted to the activity feed, but that my "Record That" clips and longer ones using the Game DVR post immediately without requiring an extra step.

There is no doubt in my mind that there will be some sort of bundle.

MCC is a console seller itself, why wouldn't there be a bundle?

I had an Xbox One a few months ago and ended up selling. I ended up pick up a One last week without the kinect and I'm having issues controlling my tv and cable box. Both worked fine when I had the One with the kinect.

I bought an IR blaster off of amazon and have that hooked up the the One. The One just isn't sending commands for some reason. Now power, volume, or channel change. I've gone through the tv setup 5 times.

Any help would be appreciated.

A lot of IR extension cables are crap...but that may not be your issue. Are you sure you have the heads on your devices' IR receivers? Can you test with some other device to make sure it's working?

Also, if you want to know exactly what IR codeset to enter for your device (on the "Enter a remote code" menu), go to www.ueisupport.com and type in your make and model.

For sure.

If you're not opposed to buying used, check out some deals on EBay.

I found a bundle that included an XB1, Kinect, 2 controllers and 5 games (Watchdogs, Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, Transformers & PvZ) for $475.

I wish I had bit on that deal. I've found others that are comparable, so I'm close to making the upgrade.

I bought the Madden bundle without Kinect. I played on Craigslist and was able to grab a Kinect for $45.

Another option would be to check your local Craigslist. A lot of good deals on there and a lot of the sellers have there receipt for warranty purposes so you know it's not a stolen/hot system
