Yes. It's possible that the DirecTV boxes weren't respecting what the Xbox was telling it in the EDID. We used to have that trouble with some boxes like the X1, and a hard reboot of the STB would fix it because the STB seems to only read the EDID on a reboot or something, and caches it at other times.

Anyone else Xbox hang around 3/4 the way for what seems to take forever and then finally install during updates or is it just me?

Honestly not sure. Last physical copy of an Xbox game I bought was Madden 15.

I wasn't quite sure if he was talking install times or updates. It seemed like on physical the console would download updates, but wouldn't finish the install till I put the disc in. Digital I feel like I have to prompt the update myself like the MCC collection today.

Was talking about system updates. Mine seems to hang around 3/4 the bar during the install then it sits for like 15 mins till it finally kicks in and completes.

Installation as the download is very quick with no issues there.

Yeah, though a lot of the notes are Windows 10 / Xbox app-centric.

I've used the Game DVR, wish I could share those clips to Xbox Live like Xbox One clips. Don't see how to do that yet.

Full notes:

• Game DVR for PC games – The Game bar lets you record game clips of your favorite Windows games.
• Screenshots – Take screenshots of Windows PC games by pressing Windows + Alt + PrtScr. Just as with Game DVR, you can also do this by clicking the “Screenshot” button on the Game bar.
• Live Tiles – The Xbox tile on your Windows 10 start menu now welcomes you back, showing off your gamerpic and letting you know when you have new messages and activity alerts.
• Avatar app – A new app is available in the Windows Store to customize your Xbox avatar’s appearance and outfit your avatar with a vast collection of items.

Hmmm, sorry, I don't have any idea as this is outside my area of expertise (but I have seen something similar for download phase). Do you have an external drive? I'm just brainstorming at this point.

Nope. Stock One. No big deal as long as it keeps updating as I was just wondering if I was the only one. Sounds like I am.

Miracast does not work with iOS currently. Android and Windows mostly.
