Re: Xbox One
I agree on the MS Exclusives.Comment

People are so excited about the used games and not having to be online for the PS4, but ill stick with the XBONE. Microsoft knows what they are doing entertainment wise, and they also had some better exclusives. I'll spend an extra 100.

Re: Xbox One
I don't get why everyone in the other threads are going crazy over sony. The lower price is nice, yes. But I don't buy used games and my xbox is always connected anyway. It really comes down to the games and services and I prefer xbox still.Comment

Re: Xbox One
The used game stuff bothers some people, and by the sound of it, a lot of people. With that, and the price being $100 cheaper, I can see why they are saying Sony won. I'm getting both, but I'm with you on liking the Xbox services best, I never had a smooth online experience with my PS3, but maybe that will change since you have to pay to play online with the PS4. I still think I'll go with the Xbox first, and get the PS4 in time for The Show release.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Im right there with ya... Internet is always available. I always buy NEW games. Is $100 REALLY that much? PS4 is just catching up to the 360 on the entertainment side. I think the Xbox One games looked much more compelling than the PS4's. Titanfall will be great. Ryse looks amazing. Halo 5. Forza... Need I say more?XO GT: TDavis45

I currently have a 360 but I think I'm switching over because of mainly the lower price and MLB the show. Ryse did interest me. But so did Second Son so that evens out. And the used games and not having to be connected to the Internet is a bonus although it's not a huge deal to me.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Agreed, that's why I changed my mind from getting the PS4 to getting the XboneONE, I tried to tell yall I have no loyalty to these gaming consoles, ill sell out in a minute. The used games and DRM don't bother me at all and as far as Kinect goes I probably wont use it that much and I will make sure I have my privacy settings on lock down.
But if I was young, had a lot of friends that played games, and broke like I use to be, yeah DRM and used games restrictions would be a big deal. But now I am grown, I only have a few friends that I rarely see, and I have a little money now so buying new games isn't a problem for me, in fact I don't plan on buying disks ever again.
But if my internet goes out, and the cable man can't get out to my home to fix it for 2-3 days, and I can't play my games on single player because of a failed authentication check! I am going to be pissed and may trade my XO in for a PS4 right away, I can see a lot of people doing this because not all areas have good internet connection..Last edited by ghettogeeksta; 06-11-2013, 12:28 AM.Comment

b) No forced DRM
c) No forced online connection
d) Cheaper
I don't buy a ton of used games, but I have occasionally, and I don't want to deal with the headache of imposed DRM. Plus, I don't want a "all in one" entertainment box. All those additional features xbox touts I can do already anyway.
Different strokes and all that, but the decision became a lot clearer for a lot of people.Comment

Not to get to far off topic but do we even know if the PS4 is pulling the same stuff as the Xbox is? Like as far as used games and always online....
We plan on buying a new home around the same time they are releasing so we may not have Internet for a whileComment
