Flight - Most reviews say Kinect is awesome but hit or miss....Was it better for you overall in consistency? Or are you getting frustrated when it screws up at all?

It's been about 90% success rate. You have to speak clearly and not too fast

I was not going to respond but I had to:

You realize you can already do most of the xbone stuff with DVR, etc besides the voice commands which was current gen as well, it is just re-done and better.

PS4 feels damn like next gen to me, streaming games live? 5 second bootup? The speed of switching apps? Multitasking? Need I Continue? LOL

I know you It is your opinion just don't say PS4 is not "next gen" when both consoles bring both to the table, each catering to a different crowd IMO, Xbone - Media, PS4 - Gaming

I watched a setup last night on YouTube from oneof theguys i watch himplay game walkthroughs and I guess this is what I thought the original kinect would be when I first bought it but it wore off after awhile I guess they didn't do enough with it at the time.

Some of the stuff like in game voice commands and stuff was on the 360 already and the ui stuff is a little clunky as it was before just now you don't have to use your hand to waive to it to wake it up and it gives you exactly what commands to say on a certain screen.

I'm still not caring for the tv stuff but glad the system is finally out so the constant talking and not seeing things work on peoples TV's is over.

Have any of you guys tried watching sports and called out a players name to see if his stats pop up on the screen ??

They demo'd this during the reveal conference in June. The speaker put on a Heat game and said..."xbox, Lebron James" and then his stats popped up on the screen....anyone remember that?

torture. I've had mine since midnight but haven't had a chance to hook up and play. I woke up this morning, dog had pooped on the floor. Took him with me to pick up system last night. Maybe he was too excited LOL. Late out the door to teach class. Dental appointment after class. Gotta go back to class here in a sec. Best believe tonight is party time

That's for sure. Usually they deliver between 11:30 and 12:30. But the last shipment I got was Wednesday. They didn't show up until 6 pm!

I'm amazed at the people that can get UPS to deliver so early in the day. I feel like all my experiences have been 3 o'clock (if I'm lucky) and later.

Same thing happened to me man so you aren't alone. I guess residential is not a priority in every place.

Mine usually comes right after I get off work. It's convenient that it won't have to lay on my stoop all day.

Usually the trucks have a pre-set route so some neighborhoods will always get afternoon deliveries while others will always get morning. When I was in Boston I got everything by noon, now I get most stuff right at 2:30 or 3pm.
