No. After your friends sends the invite, the rest is completely on Microsoft. They'll review the invites and then send out messages to the users that were invited. I don't know if everyone gets approved and I don't know if turn around time is always the same.

After reading more about it, I must admit that EA access seems like an excellent deal thus far

I'm actually thinking the opposite.

....but new games you have to pay for (albeit 10% off).

Unless you play like 8 EA games a year, I don't see the value in this at all.

Seems like Sony isn't letting the gamers be heard or have options. EA Access is a decent deal. Sony should give people the choice but they are greedy with PS Now.

Also MS keeps listening and doing monthly updates to dash...Sony adds some stuff but not as much as MS.

Unless you play like 8 EA games a year, I don't see the value in this at all.

Look at all of the getting the game early threads and see how far people drive to pick up a game a few days early or how much they pay to get it early. Even if they are buying one game a year, I'm sure paying $84 to get the game 5 days early might be worth it for some of them.

MS is doing a lot right for once

EA Access is downright stupid, but so is Sony for not having it.

On the monthly updates... well... Sony got hammered for doing PS3 updates often, so towards the end of the life cycle they said they were moving away from that and that's why they don't do it anymore.

Not gonna disagree about MS doing more right. Both companies have a lot of work to do still, though, Sony is just in a better place currently.

My EA access code didn't work since I believe it had more characters in it than normal xbox redeem codes.

I got the mail saying I have the code and it even entered it for me instantly, it just wouldn't work/process.

I didn't even really know what it was until reading this or how I got a code. Maybe because of UFC?
