I'm sorry i read this stuff and i just don't understand why any of it matters....lol...if i buy a game it's because i want to play it. Whether family members or friends can play it what does it even matter? As long as i'm logged in under my profile anybody can play the game with me on my console just like it's always been.
I can go to my friends house and log in on my profile and play that game without the disc. I don't know anyone that buys Halo only to then lend it out to friends? Their friends would also buy Halo. If that friend came over to my house, they can play that same Halo game with me on my console under their profile.
What is the problem? Or let me rephrase, what is the problem that is causing the internet to explode with hate over this non-issue? lol
I think it's just because it's different and people can't handle change at first.
For me, being able to play any purchased game anywhere under my profile without the need of a retail disc is well worth the trade off. The idea of sitting on my couch and telling my xbox to start a certain game while i'm watching a movie is too cool for school.
