Which means that Microsoft and individual Publishers would see around a 25% profit loss for each game. I just don't think Microsoft would be okay with that and I seriously doubt that the Publishers would be okay with Microsoft making that decision for them. I mean if that is the case, it's great for those who will be purchasing the X1. I just think there is some additional information that we haven't been made privy too and it will likely be a little less flattering in it's description.

Oh Ok, I can see that because you don't what somebody to hi-jack your game by always being on it if only one person could play it.

The family member playing your game while you are also playing the same game just seems too good to be true, I would be very surprised if that turns out being the case. I don't think developers would ever let that happen. In fact if that was true, wouldn't MS let that be known more clearly with all of the bad press they are getting? In my opinion, even letting a family member play a game from your library when your not playing it is a huge plus. I don't think that would impact developers much because it would be similar to how it is now, just without physically handing your disc over.

Exactly. Microsoft and Publishers/Developers would in essence be giving away a free game for every game sold. Neither Microsoft or the Publishers/Developers would be okay with that. If it was something that was approved by both Microsoft and Publishers/Developers, they would have spoken about it at E3. I would think that just about every Publisher/Developer would have an issue with this as they'd see their Profits drop around 25% per game. There has to be some additional information about this Share Plan that simply hasn't been made available yet. Given that Microsoft has received so much criticism over the past week, I'm sure they don't want to shed any negative light on one of the features they're actually receiving praise for.

You'd think so, but they haven't even really touched on the family thing too much, which, as I've said before is a big mistake on their part in light of all the awful news about them right now.

Because that isn't how it works. I saw or heard somewhere from IGN that you can both play games from your library at the same time, but it can't be the same exact game though.

Like every comment states though, they never say you can play the SAME game. They just say you can both "play" at the same time.

If this is the awesome feature it seems to be I don't understand why it wasn't promoted. There has to be more to it.
