I just paid $6 for Ryse at Best Buy. I have no idea how it happened. Going to check it out when I get home.

Re: Xbox One
Yeah, I used an old 2GB USB stick. I wanted to try some MKV files, but all the ones I have are bigger than 2GB, so just put a couple of MP3s on the stick to test it out.Comment

Awesome! If that's the case, this is great, then I don't have to buy another hard drive to play downloaded movie files and such.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: Xbox One
This is exactly why the PS4 lacks any MP3/custom audio options at this point and with them being quiet on it, I doubt we will see anything added to it before the new year. I love my PS4 overall, but this is the one thing that has driven me nuts. Sports games are just not the same without custom audio and I am hopeful this first step by MS to add the media player and latter DLNA will give us this feature back at least for one of the consoles.Comment

Nah. You'll see it this year. They're quiet about everything they work on.
If people don't like their service and/or pay for spotify, the fact that it's the only service isn't going to force most people to pay for it. Some people may go out and purchase other products that compete against their own such as turtle beach headsets that support Bluetooth audio.Last edited by sbauer318; 08-16-2014, 01:22 AM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
More like slow than quiet, but I hope you are right. Even with it added to either console, it may still be a long shot to get the game developers to add custom audio back to their games again, especially EA.Comment

Re: Xbox One
They're that too.
I don't think it will take very long for developers to do it. Their game engines probably support mp3 codecs anyway so it's really just the importing and library management that were waiting for.Comment
