Played so much of the first borderlands that my friends and I never really got into the second, and never even picked up the latest. Might grab that on sale at some point though.

I kind of wish it was 1 and 2. Never played 1 but was into 2 pretty heavy. Also played a lot of presequel.

To me the addition of horde mode in Titanfall is just a slapped together mode for the sake of saying they added something new.

Maybe my expectations are too high I dunno...

What little I've played of the PvE modes that were common sense additions would have added a ton of life to the game for me personally if they were there at launch though, for sure. It's evolved into a pretty nice game, I look forward to the second.
I am not trying to disprove anyone's point just simply stating that I disagree that it got better over time. I think they just added things which should've already been in the base game and things which I expected to get all along. So my point is it didn't get better, it just became more of what it should've been all along.

I thought from the jump we would've had way more customization of our Titans rather than just equipment loadouts.

We never did in the base game, and then they only add OS voices and insignias when things like this come standard in CoD games; comparing to player cards, character customization of uniforms, and weapon markings that we see standard in next-gen CoD games.

I am not attempting to draw a line in the sand, just talking about Titanfall and what I feel was a lackluster exclusive. I seem to be in the minority amongst the few people posting in this thread, and for some reason it seems like people are getting defensive about the Xbox one but hey I am an XB1 owner too.

Nobody's really getting defensive, but by all means keep poking the bear, I'm sure you'll get someone to bite, since that seems to be your intention.

Smacks of the 'Xbox added 100 additions last year but how many should have already been in at launch, they don't count' nonsensical argument this thread went through for a bit.

Yeah It's pretty silly to disregard improvements just because some people think they should have been there already. Improvements are improvements.

Polygon has a story on spring Xbox One games, Screamride sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

                    Re: Xbox One

MS Windows 10 event tomorrow will probably have some things relevant for this thread.

The Verge is about technology and how it makes us feel. Founded in 2011, we offer our audience everything from breaking news to reviews to award-winning features and investigations, on our site, in video, and in podcasts.

                    Xbox and PC gaming

Microsoft has a rather mixed history of PC gaming. Initiatives like Games for Windows Live failed miserably, and the company has never managed to transform its success with Xbox Live on the console over to traditional PC gaming. With Phil Spencer now in charge of Xbox and gaming at Microsoft, things are starting to look a lot better. Spencer killed off the Kinect bundle, cut the price of the Xbox One, and even helped acquire Minecraft. His efforts on the console side have not gone unnoticed, but it’s time PC gaming got some much-needed love from Microsoft.

That should be the main focus of Spencer’s participation on Wednesday. While Microsoft can’t match the power of Valve’s Steam service, realizing the potential of cross-platform play and bringing Xbox Live to the PC in a way that makes sense could help, alongside an improved Store to access popular titles and indie games. Microsoft has long promised games that let you play on a phone, and then resume on a console or PC. Pitting Xbox One gamers against PC players in the same game could be an option, but Microsoft now has the infrastructure to enable true roaming games across phone, tablet, PC, and console. We're expecting to see some of that on Wednesday. imagine playing Xbox One games on your Windows PC, or buying a single game that you can play on your PC or Xbox One and the game state syncs alongside achievements and Xbox Live integration. Wednesday could hold lots of possibilities for gamers, but a commitment to PC gaming will be a key part.

IS A VR HEADSET ON THE WAY?

Elsewhere, Microsoft still needs to explain its strategy for Xbox One apps and why it matters that the Xbox One runs Windows 10. We will see some details around this, and in particular how DirectX 12 is key to the future of gaming across Windows and Xbox. Microsoft is also holding private sessions with developers on Thursday with topics including the "Windows 10 roadmap for Xbox," so it's safe to assume we'll get a good look at future capabilities enabled by Windows 10.

Microsoft will also be participating in the Game Developers Conference in March and E3 in June, so don’t expect all the details on the company's plans for Xbox One on Wednesday. Microsoft also continues to work on a VR headset, codenamed Project B, and it's possible we might see some hints or an early look at the company's progress with its new Xbox hardware on Wednesday. Microsoft may also detail its plans to bring Xbox Live cross-platform to iOS and Android, but the Windows 10 event timing makes that unlikely.

Not going to go round and round though, you're not going to change your opinions and that's OK.

We get it, you're disappointed with your Xbox One. Yay for options, we've moved on. No big deal, please don't take it personally. These kinds of things tend to just devolve into several pages of silly posts by all sides before they're 'resolved'.

That's what you are banking on. You only post in this thread to complain. You don't post here about what you like, or even for help with an issue.

Honestly, anyone that owns a next gen console, including the Wii U, but can't find fun games to play probably just needs to find a new hobby. But since you opened this latest round of complaining with a comparison to the PS4, you might find there is another thread that better fits your predicament.

Ok, so now I don't enjoy gaming? When did I say that? I've enjoyed CoD games, Alien Isolation, both Assassin's Creed games, and a few others but not so much the exclusives.

I still play my 360 a lot and am extremely happy with that console.

And because I took to this thread to complain about matchmaking, services being down, friends list I am now trolling? Is that it?

So should I not post anything negative about my experience?

Anyways......Just traded in advanced warfare and borderlands pre sequel since AW is awful and I won't need pre sequel soon anyways once it's on One. Grabbed 36 dollars in microsoft points. Thinking about grabbing resident evil. Anyone try it? I heard they give you a more modern controller layout option. Kind of wondering how good it works.
