Please update the dvr to allow more than 5 minutes of recording time like the ps4. Totally makes simple video editing into a chore.

That's a pretty good trade-in compared to some other places. Probably your best bet

I'm was thinking about getting an XBO, already have PS4. But 98 percent of the games are the same on both systems and I dont want to spend $$ on a new system just for one game , Forza 2. I am not an exclusives guy. It'd be a nice to have a new console though . But I"m afraid I'll end up with buyers remorse as well.

You might end up loving it more then your other console

Also toiled with a second ps4 fir the rec room but was swayed by the xbox one price drop and free games. Heck I even got the kinect version so I could play anything and also experience the xbox one in all its glory.

Honestly was hoping for better media player capabilities though. Seems a little gimped. Better than ps4 but not compatible enough with all sorts of media files to replace other devices yet.
Remember, xbox will continue to update the media player and your best bet is to check AVSFORUMS since members in that site are more tech savvy than here and they'll be able to help you.

ya frankly PSN sucks and the PS4 UI sucks. I miss XBL and I know XBO UI isn't as good as 360s, but anything's got to be better than PS4's UI. But not sure if that is enough of a reason to get XBO.

The One UI has come a long way. I don't have many complaints about it at this point. Friends getting its own tab makes a world of difference.

I ended up selling my AC codes to another OS/DSP member. So, I'm in for the long haul with the Xbox One! I don't have too much buyer's remorse to be honest. Not as much as I was this morning. The reason being is that we're in year two of what......6-7 years at the very least? While there are not many exclusives out for either the PS4 or Xbox One at this point, there will undoubtedly be many over the next few years. It'll make it worth owning in the long run, but perhaps not immediately. I would have ended up purchasing the Xbox One eventually, and I badly wanted to play Forza Horizon 2 (the demo is amazing) along with a few other exclusive titles (Sunset Overdrive, Halo, etc).

All in all, I like the UI on both systems. The PS4 is simpler and so much quicker, but the XBL feels like a community and more alive.

Now, I gotta pick up a play and charge kit, because the AA batteries aren't going to last long!

Can't you use AA rechargeables in XBO like in the 360? Or does the controller suck up the battery too fast you have to keep recharging?

I don't know...I think I like it better than 360. Maybe not as quick or have as many options, but I don't really miss anything from 360 personally and think the one is slick. My favorite option is viewing games in the store, and right in the game selection is twitch streams currently going on for that game as well as game clips uploaded.

I turned my PS4 on the other day for the first time in a few months to download 2.0, yep it confirmed what I had thought previously...pretty simple and boring.

Yes, I have the same set of 4 AA batteries I bought back in march 2011 to use in the 360, now in the One controllers. Single charges on those still last me 2-3 weeks (playing 5-10 hours per week.)

I would put your ps4 up on craigslist. I sold my black Xbox one in 1 day for $310 last weekend right before the new sale price. I did it so I could grab the white console. I'd imagine you could get $300-$350 when its still $400 plus tax in stores.

I use the Energizer charge and play kit. Using AA batteries is not awful, but you do switch them out every two weeks or so. The battery life is insane good.

It did take a hit when I got the Turtle Beach XO7's, as it seems to draw even more power when you use the controller to deliver sound. But I recently picked up the fully wireless TB Stealth 500X's, which once agin increased the controller's life.

Hopefully picking up my 720p box right now. Best buy said they'd do the 150 for a ps3 towards it but the moment of truth should be soon.

Including RZ certs I'll get it for under 100. Now just to figure out games.
