Re: Xbox One
I'll part with Unity and Black Flag codes for $45 if anyone is interested. Let me know.

Re: Xbox One
I snagged one myself on the BEst Buy special and I am disappointed with the media player also. It is obviously better than the PS4 can do but no support for DTS in mkv files really makes it lose it's functionality. I am debating whether to keep it or not since I still need to have a dedicated movie playing device attached to my TV anyway.
I guess I keep telling myself that it included AC Unity, AC Black Flag and I got a years worth of Live Gold all for the cost of the unit. When you deduct those costs the Xbox One was nearly $150 off. Still....I think I would have preferred Assassins Creed Unity on PS4 so that I could use remote play in bed at night.
Also....the demos available for the Xbox one are rather scarce. I really wanted to check out some demo games to see what this thing can do and it seems they are few and far between.
What do you guys think? Is it worth keeping for now? Seems to me that most of the titles I like are cross platform anyway. I'm not a big Halo guy (not much of a FPS at all) so not sure what I should do.Comment

If you have the time to commit to both systems then yes. You got a helluva deal with all that was included. Re: Xbox One
I'm in the same position. Really wanted it for Forza Horizon 2 and Sunset Overdrive. Other than that, I don't know what else really interests me. I'd use Netflix and Skype, but that's probably the extent of it. Not sure whether to keep the Xbox One or not. Anyone know if it can be returned if you've opened it, but haven't downloaded the digital codes?I snagged one myself on the BEst Buy special and I am disappointed with the media player also. Re: Xbox One
Just trying to justify it. If I could sell my Assassin's Creed codes, of course I wouldn't be able to return it, but would feel the price is more warranted. Less of an investment, ya know?PSN: sportdan30

Re: Xbox One
How did you justify before you purchased it? Was it just an impulse buy?
Sell your codes on eBay. I already purchased a set or otherwise I'd be interested.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Impulse buy + buyers remorse equals ulcers. I returned a gopro that I recently purchased and had to get store credit for and thought why not get an Xbox one and I'll be covered for the future. Also toiled with a second ps4 fir the rec room but was swayed by the xbox one price drop and free games. Heck I even got the kinect version so I could play anything and also experience the xbox one in all its glory.
Honestly was hoping for better media player capabilities though. Seems a little gimped. Better than ps4 but not compatible enough with all sorts of media files to replace other devices yet.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I have mkv files that ripped from bluray and retain the dts-hd or just dts and the xbox one doesn't recognize the audio and cannot pass it straight through to my receiver. I have a lacie Nas that broadcast to any devices on my network so no need for pc to be on.
Does plex allow dts-hd via the xbox one?Comment
