I picked up the new Turtle Beach Stealth 500X headphones today. They basically solve every issue I had with the XO7's. They are 7.1 surround, they don't require a connection to the controller (even for chat), and they send your voice back into the headset so you can hear yourself. As a bonus, the transmitter is tiny and there is zero popping.



They sound good, and have several presets for different uses. The only drawback was the $230 price tag.

I've thought about picking up a set but my biggest issue is that their previous $200+ headsets didn't feel like $200 headsets. I don't know how to explain it other than they felt like they are constructed with the same plastic that's in the cheaper ones. I've been hoping that they would try to rip off the astro build.

I'd like a pair of wireless headsets I can use on both consoles and has good bass.

For $349 you get the console with a free game and 12 months of Xbox live. That's a good deal right there.

I think you should wait until it's about $249. Perfect Price Point. Same Price as the Wii U... Lol.

You can get a Xbox One for $250 right now trading in a PS3 or 360 towards it at the Microsoft store. They have that deal where you get it $50 off, so a Kinect less version would be $349 plus this takes $100 off.

So a question about Gold Share...if I make my buddy's XB1 my "home console" he can then access all my digital games without me being present and while he's logged in on his own gamertag....correct?

Probably a dumb question but how do you choose where your saves go? I'm looking at getting an external HDD but curious how it works, also any certain kind required?

Under manage games/apps , there is a drop down to select your storage. When you first plug in your USB drive, it ask if you want the new storage to be your default location for future installs for games/apps. You can also move games over to the new storage from the internal drive later on and vice versa (from internal to USB)

I'm pretty sure this works. I assumed this was going to be how the family sharing was going to work before the internet melted down over DRM.
