Re-saving it fixed it again...must have saved with my last name there but then going to update it was normal...either way nice to fix it.

Played a few matches. Game seemed decent. I think I'm just fps'd out at this point though.

This is really annoying, everytime I turn it off and back on I get that Update error, then have to reboot my connection although after test it says i'm connected and hard reset to be able to use my Xbox and sign in. Now I can't talk to my friend in Party.

The graphics in hardline aren't good. Jaggies everywhere and bad textures.

Yea I know, but I don't think the finale product will be that much better.

Well, I think my Day One X1 is going out.

It now is starting to make that grinding noise when a disc goes in and won't recognize that I put a disc in half the time. Last night it kept doing it until I tapped on the top of it then it worked

Just out of the one year warranty to 👍. Lucky me, it will probably cost not telling how much to get it fixed

Have to co-sign this. Live connectivity has been a terror on this console when compared to the 360. Anyone know what a blinking light on the front of your xbox for an extended period of time after shut down means? Been seeing this more than I'd like..
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

That usually means the console is downloading something

Like if you were downloading a demo then turned the console off it will continue to download it and blink like that

It will do that for updates and such to I believe. You can also turn that feature off..

Ok thanks Swamp. As far as your warranty goes you may want to contact MS. I was talking to one of their customer support staff and I thought they said you have a 30-60 day grace period after warranty runs out to pick up extended warranty for $79 unless I misheard him(which is possible). If you fall under that window you may be able to get it fixed for the $79 and get another year or two covered on it also.

                        Thanks back at you

I'll have to call and find out. I hope I can get something like that because I bet it cost much more without one

I posted this in the hardline thread, but you're right on point. I'm normally not hung up on graphics, but they're really terrible, so much so that its distracting. I wouldn't expect anything to change on the graphics front in a month before release.

I have always bought SquareTrade three years warranty on my systems. For a bit more than the price of one game it's well worth it IMO.

Someone here mentioned to hold the disc a bit when you're putting it in, don't just lightly let it suck it in...that's helped me get the disc recognized every time.

I did have to send one back separately, but that was getting a popup error when trying to access any disc, it was completely hosed.

The update error is now fixed on the new preview program just released last night. So if you are not on the program then just hang tight as it will be LIVE for all in a couple of weeks
