Xbox One

The Games with Gold are starting to get better. Come on back to Xbox . I think you can't go wrong with either console. I had both but decided to only keep the Xbox One.

I did the same thing, I had both and PS4 got off to a much better start but MS has done a really good job readjusting and listening to what people weren't happy with I recently traded in my PS4 for an X1, come on back you won't be disappointed

I agree, also for me I like the Xbone controller more and Xbox Live is better.

Well you've pretty much just sold me... I really want to come back. I've got someone REAL close I could trade system-for-system, leaving me with a couple games accessories to get rid of (probably trade in at bestbuy).

My biggest concern is losing my games on my hard-drive. Does anyone know if downloaded games (not free MS or ps+ games) are playable without the account that downloaded them?

Do you think system for system straight up is a fair trade?

I agree, also for me I like the Xbone controller more and Xbox Live is better.

Outside of Halo this is my 2nd big reason for wanting to come back.... I think I'm coming back.

Well you've pretty much just sold me... I really want to come back. I've got someone REAL close I could trade system-for-system, leaving me with a couple games accessories to get rid of (probably trade in at bestbuy).

I'm pretty sure your downloaded games are linked to your account so you would be able to download them on any system that you log onto with the same account

In other words, I have Bf4 downloaded on my PlayStation, he has gta and CoD AW on the X1. If we didn't take over each other's online subscriptions, will we be able to play those games?

Also his is the AW edition console so it's 1TB where mine is a 500gb ps4.

You guys to the best of my knowledge would only be able to play the downloaded games on the swapped systems if you logged in with each other's accounts, for instance you wouldn't be able to play CoD AW on his system if you log in with your account, I could be wrong but I'm almost certain that's how it works

When does rare replay come out? I thought it was in August but I'm staring at it right now at Walmart?

They wont be able to sell it. Games are always in their cases early.

It would be possible without that - he would only need to leave the xbox one as his gamer tags home console, and you can play them with your gamertag. Same goes vice versa with the ps4. They don't actually need to be signed in unless it isn't the home console of the tag that owns the game.


Edit - I have multiple Xbox Ones. The family room is my "home console." Any digital game I own can be played by any tag on that console whether I am signed in or not. If someone wants to play one of my digital games in my 4 seasons room or basement, they can under their own tag, but my profile must be logged into the xbox at the same time (and it must be connected to the internet.)

Yeah, i guess this would work, and if neither of you want to play that system anymore you wouldn't notice...

Yeah and I am thinking, even if they ever go back to their original consoles and change their home console back to their new one...by then BF4 and COD:AW will be old news where they may not be losing much, even if so by then they could be found used pretty cheap

Yeah they don't ever put out games early here. But I don't know if I'm all that interested in the game anyway.

Ah reminds me of my college days working at Blockbuster. New releases would always come in on Thursdays, releasing on Tuesday 5 or 12 days away. Always made me mad that employees could rent the movies pre-street date, but were never allowed to on games.


In this case though, I don't recall seeing this - retailer puts a game out in the case that you can't yet buy. Likely a mistake by someone who didn't know any better - which in case someone else would probably allow the sale seeing as it was out on the floor?

I know back in the day a buddy of mine worked at a store that got the games early and he would hook me up but he couldn't ring it up until after midnight of the release date, it was somehow blocked, I imagine it would be the same on this
