Re: Xbox One
I have 2 Xbox Ones....if I get 2 external drives (one for each) could I plug both into my downstairs Xbox One and copy games from one to the other? Then take it back upstairs and have all of them on that HD as well, so I don't have to download twice?
Is it that easy?Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Is BF:HL line pretty dead? I played the bare bones of it when it first came out but I got tired of it
Is $36 for the game and all the DLC worth it?

Re: Xbox One
I'd be surprised if they weren't tied to the console ID when formatted, but really have no idea.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Yep. I have a 5tb on my home xbox in the family room, everything downloads there by default. Bring in my 2tb from my gaming office, copy over to it, go back to the office and it is ready to go. When I copy from the 5tb i get two choices for location - internal and 2tb external.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I had a seagate SSHD before on my x1 with like 10 games and went to plug it on another xbox one and it would not even recognize it. Not sure why but I think I needed to plug it to my pc and reformatted it and then it would work on the new xbox but without the games as they would be wipedComment

Re: Xbox One
Going back from last week...
I was able to rent a movie on my phone via Amazon, and play it through the Xbox. It showed up in "My Library", but I had to do a hard restart on my Xbox because the app wouldn't refresh to show it.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Not at all, they are just game installs. Not sure why others are saying it is tied to a console id. They are absolutely wrong. Previously i only has the 2tb. Everything downloaded to there on my main xbox. I would bring that external and play in my office, in my basement, and at my parents house. I could copy from that external to those other internal drives. I upgraded to a 5tb as the other was getting full. New stuff downloads there. I move my 2tb onto it, copy over from the 5tb and as before that drive and stuff copied is used on any other one. The only thing that determines if the game can be played is if the profile owns it, or the disk is inserted. Ive been doing it since the start of external drives. It does indeed work without issueComment

Yea but you cannot just plug and play right? It defeats the purpose to me at least that I have to copy or move the game from the external to the internal which is not plug external and start gaming right away. Also I assume you have your main console as the home console which allows you to do this? If you take it to a friends house that is not sharing content with you can you just plug and play the games on your profile in his console?
That is what plug and play is. I do not think you can do thatComment
