Posted before sort of anyway way back ..... But wanted to ask on here


Long story short I had the day one Xbox and had to send it in multiple times because of the disc drive. I sent it in probably 3 times and every time it would do the same thing eventually.... Finally the warranty ran out a little over a year ago and they wanted me to give them around $130 to try and fix it for a fourth time. I didn't give them another chance and decided to buy a new one for $300. I know the disc drive would have to be sent into to fix but now it just turns on and says system error so you can't even play the digital stuff on it

Anyway it's been sitting in a box ever since and I was wanting some opinions if it's worth even a little bit of money, can I fix it some how, or should I just chunk it. Just taking up space at this point. I've googled and such but there is so many different answers I'm not sure what works and such

Appreciate any opinions guys

GWG next month is decent.

XBO: Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, WWE 2K16
X360: Spelunky, Beyond Good & Evil HD

I just picked up WWE2k16 on Steam and got it refunded a week or two ago, just didn't like how it controlled. Interested in the other 3 games though.

That sucks man. Have you tried these steps? https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-...iagnostic-tool

It's a bit of a process, but it basically allows you to install a new build on the console (albeit in a harder way than we do in the office).

Given it won't boot, I think this is worth a shot.

I finally took advantage of the great XB1 deals going around and snatched me up The Division 1tb bundle with $30 gift card at GameStop, looking forward to diving into this system as I've been playing PS4 this entire gen which is great in its own right and now having both I can enjoy best of both worlds.

Only games so far are The Division, EA Access but looking for any suggestions on must have games for my new system, I'm sure I will use this mostly for sports titles I mean they just seem to be better on the 1 and I like its controller better as well.

As expected Madden 17 bundle has been announced for August 23rd with the S Model of course

I didn't want to spend so much on the 2tb model.

I already have a 4tb HDD filled with over 125 games.

I want and will get the Madden Bundle cant wait

Yea this is huge news for those wanting to spend less. They will release the madden bundle in the 1tb for $349.99

the halo one will be available in 500 and 1tb after madden comes out.

The 1tb halo one will be while supplies last

Wow, WWE2k16 is going to be free? It hasn't been out long has it?


I picked up 15 for a change of pace kind of game when it was on sale one time, I was looking at 16 to go on sale, but free is even better. Significantly better since it won't get a lot of play from me.

yea xbox had wwe for free for a week last month and it hovers at around 29.99 so it is a year old and new one coming soon.

2k has been a lot more aggressive with price points this cycle, wwe was just $15 with all DLC on PC, NBA was $12 and has had free weekends on Xbox One and was free with PS+ last month.

Ohh... ok. Shows how much I pay attention to that series then.


Either way, pretty good that it's free. There's been some good titles lately in the GWG program, WWE2k16, The Crew, Sunset... Nice to get something useful out of it.
