Opening Gameplay Walkthrough of Forza Horizon 3 (spoilers obviously) -

      <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pH_LhtJKPWc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

This game looks gorgeous and holy crap, it's like an open world game with points of interest. A few questions for those who play Horizon -

      1. I know the point is to create a popular festival and whatnot. How much of that do you actually do? Or is it mainly just automatic as you progress through the campaign and complete races, etc.?

      2. Can the GPS lady that keeps saying turn left, stay right, etc. be turned off? There's no way I'll be able to deal with that. LOL.

      Thanks guys.

        1. This is the first time the Create a Festival is in the game...previously you just competed in the festivals. I don't think anyone will know how involved you'll be with that aspect until the final game comes out. I'm sure the game will still primarily revolve around the objective-based tasks and point-to-point races in an open-world environment, as that's what makes the FH series so enjoyable.

So I feel pretty dumb right now, but I may have idiotically misinterpreted how "Play Anywhere" works.

I am trying to find where I can pre-order Recore for the PC (its a Play Anywhere title) and all I see are Xbox One purchase options.

For some reason I thought Play Anywhere meant those titles would be x-box exclusive but also released on Windows 10 (basically creating a synergy between the two platforms, xbox one only for consoles, windows 10 only for PC).

Does Play Anywhere mean you buy the game for One, install it onto your One, and then after you get the option to download it to your PC? If so, that makes the One S a no brainer for me and I would have bought it a week ago.

yea that is what it has been. You buy the xbox one version and it gives you the widows version free

I guess I am just confused because sites like this

                  https://mspoweruser.com/everything-y...where-program/

Make it sound like I buy it digitally and I can choose to either play it on PC or One. That is why I didn't know if I needed to actually own a One (which may sound stupid, I admit) to take advantage.

No, you don't need to own a One. I'm going to buy it digitally on the Xbox store, but going to play on PC almost exclusively.

                      Oh ok, nice

That is what I was hoping for

So I just buy it digitally here

From legendary creator Keiji Inafune and the makers of Metroid Prime comes the “ReCore Definitive Edition”, an action-adventure masterfully crafted for a new generation. As one of the last remaining humans, forge friendships with courageous robotic companions and lead them on an epic adventure through a mysterious dynamic world. Includes the new “Eye of Obsidian” adventure and “T8-NK” Corebot frame!

And I will be able to download it on PC, it will be associated with my Xbox Live account (which is still active even though I sold my One a couple months ago)

Yup. Just make sure you use the Microsoft account that's associated with your Xbox Live identity. Pretty sure that's how it works.

Obviously I am not 100 percent sure how it works, but based on that site I posted and some others that try to explain it, I believe the answer is yes. On Windows 10 you will still be logged into your Xbox Live account. Same account as you use on the console.

I don't if every Play Anywhere game has multiplayer but I know that they talked about PC/X1 multiplayer being in there for the Gears 4 Play Anywhere and whatnot
