Re: Xbox One
Trying so many different combinations and I can barely make any turns without spinning or slamming into barriers. Sorry guys but this isn't fun at all. Where the hell is the handling and steering? Used a car that has high 80's for the five attributes and same damn thing after upgrading the damn car. Enjoy the game guys. Did you leave the driving lines on? If so, just follow the line and read the colors. If it's red you need to slow down.
Just try easing into turns and then easing out of them. After a while you should get more comfortableComment

Re: Xbox One
I love some of the minor things that show up. Like how many people have picked which location for the 2nd festival. I was surprised to see the outback only had 28%.
But I wanted a reason to drive the warthog which has been great. Love that vehicle. Ended up getting my highest skill point total in it. Ended up just sort of 500,000 before I missed a drift
Also the email telling you how many festivals you are in plus also telling how many you have been fired from also. Think I'm only in 37 been fired from 4 i think.

The Forza Horizon series is one of the easiest pick up and drive games there is..it's a casual, arcade racer man, it's really not that difficult. Practice practice practice and you will get better.

Love the seamless part of driving and challenging drivers already on the road and after the race when the car is still going but yet, you're not really driving and just seeing the stats.
Will definitely get back to playing tomorrow. Hopefully, after a full day or so, I should be better at steering and turning.
Thanks guys.Comment

Re: Xbox One
The wider the turn looks on the mini-map, the more im trying to turn into it. For example, if it's wide left turn, then I try to get as over to the right lane as much as possible so I can ease into the turn. I don't go full speed but I don't brake either as that usually results in disaster for me. I let up on the gas and slow down so when I turn, I keep control of the car and since im going straight, I can accelerate and gain speed.
I turned on all the assists and ugh, I still spin out or drift off the road. The steering/turning seems way too tight like I have to literally fight to turn sometimes. Not buying racing games isn't a problem since this is the first racing game that I have purchased since Need for Speed on 3DO. Casual and arcade should mean that the steering and turning is easier and more loose but not for me. LOL. I am practicing. Not well but practicing nonetheless.
Yes. I turned them on for several races. I try to do what I mentioned above for every turn. Obviously, it doesn't always work out the way I want it to. Hopefully, I'll get more comfortable and better because the game is excellent in pretty much every aspect except for the one that I suck at. LOL.

I've played Forza since it's inception and consider myself a car enthusiast, I really love tuning cars and making them my own. I wouldn't mind helping you out with some cars and building you some tuning setups that might help you, I can make some grippy ones so you stay on the track easier
If anyone else wants any tunes or ever wants to race, free-roam, or do some campaign co-op let me know, it's a lot of fun. I have a 92 wide body NSX tune I've been working on, I believe it's S1 966 and I've almost got it where I want it, I'll upload it when I'm done if anyone is interested.Fino Alla Fine

How are you driving? I suck at most driving games and find the Forza horizon games easy to turn.

Re: Xbox One
What cars are you using? You have to be careful with upgrading too, the faster you make the car without tuning it, the more out of control it will handle.

Speed - 8.1
Handling - 8.1
Acceleration - 9.5
Launch - 10
Braking - 9.8
That's after upgrading it as best as I can go at the time. I know that Handling is low compared to the bottom three but still, an 8.1 should still be good. UGH.
As for tuning, I honestly have no clue what half this stuff means or what it will do. Yeah, im not a car person. The only car that I ever had any interest in was a prototype and never put into production. Obviously, this is part of my problem.
I'm having fun with the game. Just need to have better steering/handling and I'll be good to play without getting aggravated or frustrated.
Today is mess around day but I want to start over tomorrow because picking the Ford Shelby GT350R 2016 was a bad idea. When you're on the beach at the start of the game and have to select your "main car", which one is the best option?
I realized that they don't tell you the attributes for the cars when selecting one of the four and I just went with the one that seemed best suited for racing but that obviously wasn't the case. LOL.
I love the open world aspect and seamless activities. Also love hearing Keira say my name all the time. LOL. Few games ever say your actual name throughout the game.Comment
