Safe assumption would be this is a strong possibility down the road. I have a feeling everyone at MS is looking extremely close at copy since the confusion of their message at E3. I doubt "at launch" would have made it if they didn't know it will be coming.

I call BS on the bold all day long. They saw how quick "gamers" were to jump ship when MS attempted to put the boudin(cajun saying, I'm sorry lol) to them. Now they are trying to do damage control and draw some back.

Rather have had them come clean niw, then to lead the consumer on. So call what you wanna call it. IMO it's a great day and shows no matter how people feel about MS, they've listened to their install base & are doing right by them

Well Joe, you were lead on to their "promised vision". After all they said, did, and proclaimed, I can say I have zero confidence in Microsoft as a consumer.

It does suck that some of the cool features wont be there now. being able to go disc-free, even if you went to a friends house, and being able to share via "family share". hopefully they will be able to bring that back, at least for the digital copies.

Still getting both consoles but feel a bit better about the XBOX1.
Prefer LIVE and their controller.

Agreed.

They saw the pre order numbers and backtracked. They haven't done this for the consumers, they did it to save themselves from being destroyed by Sony.

I'll be so pumped when we get to the weeks/days before launch. Still need a launch date to put in vacation for the PS4 and XBOX1!!!

Got my Xbox on release date as well as my 360. Been part of Xbox live since 2004. But with the 360 (R-O-D issues), not being HDMI and in E3 announcements of MS, I decided that I am not getting X1. With the new development, I remain skeptical about MS....I still not buy it, unless I see how X1 fair in the market by the end of 2014, thats the only time I will consider buying.

Personally, I hate them for sayign they love the gamers.....just accept the fact that most gamers, such as I am, who were xbox loyals were turned off by your decisions in E3. At least have the decency to say.... that you reconsider everything, and you are backtracking from your original plans and listened to the consumers. This way....you will get sympathy instead of mockery.
