Just out if curiosity, what are people's problem with kinect being included? I don't play Kinect myself, but it's inclusion isn't an issue for me at all.

Re: Xbox One
If you want to go disc-free, then just buy the digital versions of the games you want. That's not going anywhere.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Xbox One
sad thing is, on console games, you can usually find disc version cheaper. If digital version comes with a cheaper price, I'll be all over that. Also right now, you have zero ability to share digital games.Last edited by Solidice; 06-19-2013, 06:21 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Im also in the minority being disappointed about not having all the features, was really looking forward to the family/friend sharing...that would have been huge. Not sure about a game a friend has borrow theirs and call it a day. Now I have to look at this system and think of all the things it could be doing but won't be doing because it was taking away Saw an article where they suggested if you cant make the 24 hr check in that you can play the games with a disc. not sure if this would or could have worked but oh well-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: Xbox One
I don't care if it's bundled with the system, I just don't want to use it. I still have yet to see anything regarding the Kinect/PSEye that would make me want to utilize them.badComment

Re: Xbox One
This is a great day for gamers, but I'm a little sad about the whole thing worked out. Outside of the family sharing plan, I'm not really going to miss too much. I don't mind carrying a disc with me if I want to play my game outside of my own home.Writer for Operation Sports

Re: Xbox One
Glad Microsoft reversed course well before launch of the Xbox One. I'll still likely wait things out for a year before making a decision (can't see myself getting two consoles again), so this news has certainly changed things a little in terms of what I buy, as I was pretty much sold on a PS4.Currently Playing:

Re: Xbox One
Still wont get one at launch but will definitely get one later because of the changes. Most of the launch next gen games are cross-platform and I still have a TON of games to play on the 360. At launch, I'll only need one next-gen platform so I'll go with the cheaper one right now.
With that said, I'm proud that gamers were able to force MS' hand and get them to change its policy. Power of the preorder.Comment

Re: Xbox One
My issue is that the Kinect has to work for you to use the X1. So if the Kinect breaks for any reason, I cant use my console until i buy a new one.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Damage has been done. They lost me as a customer and trying to save their own asses and tell me they're doing it for me isn't going to undo what was already done. These complaints didn't just happen, they've been going on for some time now. They just told me if I had a problem with their online requirements then they made a cool system called the XBox 360 to **** off and go play. Now conveniently after the PS4 has been stomping a hole in their *** in preorders they heard my cries and came to my aide? Nah, good effort though on that one though Microsoft. I'll stick with my PS4 that's preordered.Comment

Re: Xbox One
What choice did they have, really ?
I feel like Sony was going to really put a beat down on Microsoft in early and first year sales. Microsoft saw the writing on the wall just like the rest of us common folk did.
I still won't buy one and I'm excited about my PS4. Its great that they changed the policies, but I can't, in good faith, trust that company at all.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I call BS on the bold all day long. They saw how quick "gamers" were to jump ship when MS attempted to put the boudin(cajun saying, I'm sorry lol) to them. Now they are trying to do damage control and draw some back.
Real version
"We at MS screwed up and hoping you guys forgive us"
I agree consumers were upset back when all this info came out in May at their reveal event. Just last week they seem to not care about the opinion of the consumers. How do you go from "if you don't have a good connection get an xbox 360" to now we care about consumers. I feel they saw the preorder sale projections and that significantly helped them change their mind. I could be wrong though...Comment
