I have to tell you all an amazing story tonight about Microsoft customer service!! My Xbox One Elite controller left stick quit moving down... It had been getting worse and when a friend from out of town was here this pass weekend it died altogether and would not move down at all without jamming it very hard.

It was out of warranty but I figured I'd go down to the Microsoft store here in Columbus to see if they could fix it or something before I bought another.

So I got there and they took my email and information, I explained what was wrong, she asked when and where I bought it, I told her a year and a half ago at best buy... then she went to the back, and came out with a new Elite controller and apologized for the other one breaking!.

Now that's customer service!! I was very impressed..I didn't even ask for a new one, just for them to fix my old one...WOW

Found my first negative. You can’t set up the console to auto mute all tv sounds when a headset is plugged into the controller. I know I can mute or turn the tv volume to 0. Don’t start [emoji23]

in the audio options of the xbox one x settings you can turn hdmi audio to off and only the headset volume will play and not the tv sounds

The problem with "the truth" is people pretend to insist their version of it is what applies to others, while not holding the same belief themselves. I take it you aren't jealous and need to reassure yourself you made the "right choice"? Which is where these conversations go awry, you supplanting any legitimate reasoning with vitriol instead to marginalize an opinion you disagree with or need to find a way to rationalize.

If people would speak for themselves in a debate like this and then let others do the same they remain much more constructive.

I need to look again. I think my HDMI audio was grayed out for some reason.

It's my truth, aka my opinion. That's all. I do not engage in console wars. I own both Xbox One and PS4. I'm not going to apologize for the fact that I find it silly that people act childish by choosing to spend their time putting other people's systems down.

If you find that noble or a right thing to do though then have at it. Of course you're entitle to your opinion on that. IMO life is too short for such nonsense.

This is my stance as well, except after long flip flopping I went with PS4 instead. The Pro is still awesome (I do miss Forza and probably Gears too) but for me the Japanese games on the PlayStation are what really made it an easier decision.

That's cool that people have time to play all sorts of stuff on 3-4 different ecosystems but for me it's not feasible.

Xbox is still awesome and some of the innovations they've had are awesome and really consumer friendly.

All it took was someone listing games and saying they will be better on X. Which we all know they will. Not sure what the big deal with that comment was.

Sadly, Some find it hard to believe and accept that the Xbox X is currently the stronger console. The moment someone states that a game runs and looks better on the X it will somehow get challenged and it becomes a console war.
