So I bought the pre-order of NBA 2K19. Will it download on 9/6 or 9/11?

Release date shows 9/6 but my order email shows 9/11

If you pre-ordered the regular version, you will get it on the 11th .You have to had ordered the the special edition to get it on the 7th.

I'm having an issue with my controller and it's making me want to trade in the system and leave XB1 altogether....any help would be greatly appreciated.

The left analog stick keeps sticking. This has been the case with 3 different controllers over the last 2 years...all MS first party controllers.

This especially hurts when playing sports games...when pushing right on the left thumb stick my character often stops moving or drifts towards the bottom of the screen.

I mainly play sports games so I just don't know what to do anymore.

Is there a controller that is recommended. I thought about the Elite but just can't justify the purchase price. And I would be too upset if the Elite controller has the same issue.

It helps if I "feather" the stick when using it (or only push it very very lightly), but that is very hard to do when you are running up the pitch or up the sideline or at the basket for a dunk.

I’ve never had that happen with a fairly new controller. I have issues with analogs going bad or buttons sticking but that’s usually after a long period of use and beating on them. I’d consider it extremely unlucky and just go grab a new controller. Not much else you can do unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply...yes it's always started within the first 2 weeks of use. I guess I'm just too heavy handed for the way the MS controller left analog stick is manufactured.

Sadly, Some find it hard to believe and accept that the Xbox X is currently the stronger console. The moment someone states that a game runs and looks better on the X it will somehow get challenged and it becomes a console war.

As much as I prefer and favor PlayStation 4 Pro over Xbox One X, I have zero doubt that X is in fact the more powerful console. There's no denying that whatsoever.

I’m the same as you, I own both consoles and favor my Pro. I mean it’s a no brainer the X is more powerful, but I’m more of a single player guy, I game online occasionally and prefer to do that with my X when I do.

I play where the games are and for me Sony has the games I prefer more. I love exclusives and that’s why I Play on my Pro more these days.

Yeah, im also a single player gamer. The only time I have played any game online was for The Division and For Honor because they required an internet connection despite playing solo. But it didn't cost me anything extra so I didn't mind it. And yeah, im the same in regards to exclusives.

Take it to a Microsoft store...read my story below that I posted a few days ago about my Elite controller that had the same issue as you describe:

I have to tell you all an amazing story tonight about Microsoft customer service!! My Xbox One Elite controller left stick quit moving down... It had been getting worse and when a friend from out of town was here this pass weekend it died altogether and would not move down at all without jamming it very hard.

It was out of warranty but I figured I'd go down to the Microsoft store here in Columbus to see if they could fix it or something before I bought another.

So I got there and they took my email and information, I explained what was wrong, she asked when and where I bought it, I told her a year and a half ago at best buy... then she went to the back, and came out with a new Elite controller and apologized for the other one breaking!.

Now that's customer service!! I was very impressed..I didn't even ask for a new one, just for them to fix my old one...WOW

Exactly. We already determined if you are a single player person you would prefer Sony exclusives. Not sure why it keeps getting said in here. Personally I’ll always play games on the console that runs them better. Exclusives don’t factor into what machine is better. That doesn’t make sense.

I have no loyalty to any company or machine. I prefer the X right now for multi-platform games but I'd be nuts to say I'm not going to play God of War and other games like The Last of Us as well.

Like I said, I really don't understand this idea of console wars because people should just play what is the best thing they enjoy no matter where it is.

Strange. I’m a single player person but stuff like Horizon etc didn’t hold my attention. I do like stuff like Gears though.

All personal preference really.
