Microsoft head says there will be no Series X exclusives for the first couple years.

Naturally some are trying to make this sound like bad news.

        Re: Xbox One

It's been known for a while that Halo: Infinite will be available on Xbox One as well as Xbox Series X and PC. In a wide-ranging interview with MCVUK, Xbox Game Studios chief Matt Booty said other first-party Series X titles will also be playable on Xbox One. In fact, Microsoft's own Series X games won't be exclusive to that console for a while.

"As our content comes out over the next year, two years, all of our games, sort of like PC, will play up and down that family of devices," Booty said. "We want to make sure that if someone invests in Xbox between now and [Series X] that they feel that they made a good investment and that we're committed to them with content."

Microsoft's first party exclusives being cross-gen is for launch, 2021 and possibly 2022 but games such as Hellblade 2, The Initiative's first game, Everwild and Playground's action RPG which is expected to be Fable and based on leaked artwork, looks amazing are all expected to be next gen only.

It's so funny how people are making this sound bad but it's honestly better for consumers.

Gears Tactics which they finally showed gameplay of looked great as well. April 28th is the PC release and I would think before the end of 2020, it will be available on Xbox One/Series X.

I am surprised that Microsoft is releasing Gears Tactics only four weeks earlier than Wasteland 3 because you would think that Microsoft wouldn't want Gears Tactics to overshadow it on PC especially when both are turn based strategy RPG's.

One thing I was thinking about is since they revealed it at TGA, I would assume that Microsoft will no longer have a reveal event and instead, wait for E3 2020. Before TGA, I was fully expecting them to have a reveal event in the Spring. Now it's unlikely.
Game-pass; Mutant Year Zero, Road to Eden. I like it better than xcom - it's awesome imo and anyone who was wondering about taking a chance, don't worry about it, it's a great game and has a refreshing dynamic of choosing when you want to fight and running around in real-time before a battle. The weapons and kills, destruction is all very satisfying and there is quite a bit of strategy. I"m playing on normal and it's a challenge. Love the art work too.

Played and completed MYZ back on Game Pass when it launched on December 4th, 2018. I also played the Seed of Evil expansion last July. Rated MYZ an 8.0/10 (great) and the SOE expansion a 7.0/10 (good).

I'll miss the HDMI passthrough...it was a good easy way to integrate tv and a system.

I wonder if they'll have any capabilities with a USB hdmi thing? I dunno what's possible.

Would there be a simple alternative for ease of use in a living room situation? It's nice to have the Xbox remote that can do more apps vs. having to swap inputs. I know we can swap inputs, but Alexa can just shut off Xbox and Tv and everything all at once, it's pretty cool. I guess maybe a Harmony Hub that can manage switching things through Alexa? Haven't really looked

I use a harmony hub with my setup and haven’t used the HDMI pass through in a while.

LOL, yes I believe MS did. It looks a little cheaply made If I must say compared to build on both my X's.

Basically connect that with smart speaker (alexa, google, whatever) and it can easily control channels and switching between devices and all that?

Started playing this again with Console Streaming on my phone and got past the hump. I was struggling because I'd run into pretty tough situations that i'd just get thrashed, but learned you need to go silent and pick off singles with stealth.

I wish i had XCom 2, I'd probably prefer that, but this scratches the itch and is really nice on my phone.

I didn't even know that was a thing... do you use a specific app and I'm guessing there is support for some games and not others?
