No flash sales is what's making me sad...

State of Decay worth $5? Don't know why, but I've been enjoying post-apocalyptic games lately. I just played through Fallout 1 and 2 again.

BTW, check out Defy Gravity Extended Edition (http://store.steampowered.com/app/96100/). Fun little puzzle game for only 14-cents (USD)!!! Even if you don't like it, you can make an easy profit on trading cards.

Endless Legend is great for a Civ-style game.

I own 7 of the front page games, mostly from previous sales, lol.

Any of y'all have NHL 09 on PC? I've been reading up on it and found there are tons of mods that make the game pretty awesome. New rosters every year is even better. Now, I'm not a huge hockey fan, but sports games on PC are the win for me.

                Any thoughts on this game?

Dead State gets an official release tomorrow. (Dec 4th)

Dead State is a narrative-driven survival RPG set at the dawn of the undead apocalypse. Drawing inspiration from classic RPGs like Fallout, X-Com, and Suikoden, Dead State combines strategic, turn-based combat with base building mechanics, character creation, and social management.

SimCity 2000 available free on Origin today. Sunk a lot of hours into this one (both from a building AND destroying standpoint), back in the day.

Has anyone tried Steam's new "Broadcast" option? Seems fairly easy, but not sure of connection requirements or performance hits while streaming.

I didn't notice any in-game performance hits, and you can change the bitrate to fit what you'll be able to stream. It's a 30 FPS max and that does mess up the on-stream smoothness of some games that are natively 60 (Isaac Rebirth for example).

I'd still rather stream from twitch as I have more control of things with OBS, but it's an interesting alternative. Since it's seperate from Twitch it'll be interesting to see if it can still pick up steam (pun intended).
