Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Yeah when I seen the email about this I was pretty happy. TONS of hours on it. My disk is in one of my totes in attic so I haven't played in a long while.
Maybe this will fire up the fun and help forget the newest SC disappointment (Although it may have improved since launch but I wouldn't know as I haven't touch it in ages)
Either way I'm downloading 2000 and love they made it the special editionJoshua:

If anyone picks up The Hunter: Primal, definitely let us know how it is.
I'm a huge fan of dinosaur games, and a survival FPS set on a dinosaur-infested island sounds like a lot of fun.
But with the STEAM holiday sale only a few days away, I have a hard time paying full price, even if it's only $20.Comment

Anyone plan on picking up MS Flight Simulator X? Finally its on Steam and they're selling it for $4.99 for today only. Rumor is it will go up in price after today and full price after the sale. I'm on the leaning towards buying it, but I'm wondering how many "must have" DLCs I'm going to get shoved at me.Comment

I'm grabbing it more than likely. Back in the day I was a very frequent flier lol.. mainly with Falcon 4.0. Loved the huge manual...don't know why but was just cool reading all the in's and out's.
Will probably dust off my flight sticks if I do. Have a nice Thrustmaster setup. Supposedly the XB360 controller works great with FS X though. We'll see.Joshua:

Plus, AC III and beyond have had the worst optimization ever. AC and AC II were awesome, but after that, it was all downhill on PC.Comment

Anybody play NHL 09 on PC? There are tons of mods for this game that keep it current and better than its modern day counterparts. Check out http://www.thebreakaway.net/forums/f...and-Discussion for a lot of the better mods. Think of this game as the MVP 05 for hockey.
I haven't played an NHL game since the Sega Genesis days (NHL 94 maybe?), but would like to get another hockey game to always have. Just curious if anyone here has it.Comment

For anyone on PC that wants Battlefield 4:
It's $4.99 right now on GameStop.com for digital download. Went ahead and bought it. Couldn't pass it up for $5Comment
