Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Yes x100 for this. Running with an outfit headsetted up not only earns me strange looks from my wife but also an amazing gaming experience.
Without breaks between games like in CoD or Battlefield allow you to totally lose time with this game. Highly recommended.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Lack of teamwork is the biggest thing plaguing TF2. I play a lot of L4D2 these days and its loads of fun when playing with a group that works together. I may have to try Planetside 2...I'm always looking for games that reward teamwork more than kills.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I picked it up during the Autumn sale and it is excellent. It's basically a melee-only version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein/Enemy Territory.
Plays much better with a 360 controller.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I finally started playing Bastion, after buying back in the Summer Sale, and WOW! Everything audio within the game is absolutely amazing, from the narration to the musical score. You don't hear stuff this good in AAA games. The gameplay is very refined also and the story is somewhat engaging. Overall a great game for those looking to play a game with a controller while relaxing on the couch.Comment

I don't think this was a greenlight thing but I think I'm going to start voting against games on greenlight. If I had no intrest I just didn't vote but I can see in the value of hitting that no button now.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
They stole a zombie in their promo images from The Walking Dead.

Steam removed the game...
http://kotaku.com/5969836/the-war-z-removed-from-steamFrom time to time a mistake can be made and one was made by prematurely issuing a copy of War Z for sale via Steam. We apologize for this and have temporary removed the sale offering of the title until we have time to work with the developer and have confidence in a new build. Those who purchase the game and wish to continue playing it via Steam may do so. Those who purchased the title via Steam and are unhappy with what they received may seek a refund by creating a ticket at our support site here.
And the rest of this games non-sense: http://kotaku.com/5969784/the-war-z-...we-know-so-farComment

If it's anything like the recent sales I'll prepare my disappointment.
