You build up your kingdom/empire and invade others. Do research on specific things like science, art, war related things. There's various win conditions, like the first civilization to space, taking over a certain ammount of stuff etc. but I believe you get to pick that yourself at the start. Think anicent Rome,Alexander the Great and that kinda thing.

Just bought Skyrim on the PC off of Steam for $29 and Lord of the Rings: WOTN for $5 on Green Man Gaming. I still need to buy Spec Ops off of Amazon for $7 tonight, what a steal for 3 games vs. buying on consoles and paying double. Time to ebay my PS3 version of Skyrim and get my money back.

Anyone tried Double Fine's new game,The Cave? Thoughts? The game looks like a lot of fun, but never having played a DF game, I'm a little hesitant.

I understand what you're supposed to accomplish....but I have absolutely no idea what to do to get there. Like what do I even do with the people I make? I checked for tutorials online but it didn't really get me anywhere. Other than build a city I'm clueless after that.

I'm enjoying it. Double Fine does good work, shouldn't be hesitant. Also the guy that made Maniac Mansion made this.

When I see stuff like this, I want to slap myself for not owning a gaming rig. That's just a really great price.

Came real close to pulling the trigger on Hotline Miami for $5.99 but held off since I have quite a few titles to finish so I think I can grab it later for roughly same or cheaper price.

That my reasoning for not grabbing Sleeping Dogs. If it's already had a sale for $9.99, then come the next summer/black friday/winter sale it'll be that price again or even cheaper.

I'm half way done with Farcry 3, then going to finish Spec Ops The Line which I'm sure I can run through in a weekend, then I will start on Sleeping Dogs. I know Farcry has taken me a while and I'm sure Sleeping Dogs will also. So these will fill my single player needs for a little while.

NCAA 13, NHL 13, and Halo 4 has been filling in the rest of the time.
