ok, I'll take that back, they just replaced a game with Antichamber at $7 so I'll buy that.

Yeah, I agree. Dishonored would be great at 10, but nothing else I care about right now. Not a good enough sale on Bioshock...I'd have considered 20 perhaps, but not 30.

I was looking at Fallout 3 at 50% off but it says it is "not Optimized for Windows 7" - What does that mean? will it run at all?

Runs fine for me but people have had problems getting it going.

Bioshock Infinte is $25-ish at greenman. 50% off and a 10% coupon.

Picked up CS: GO, Cart Life, and McPixel. Was considering Call of Juarez but I probably wouldn't play it for a while and by then it might be $5.

Tons of great indie titles under $5. Cart Life for $2 and McPixel for $1 is a steal. Some other great games in there that I might buy.

              I can update my list...

              The Swapper
              Gunpoint
              Joe Danger pack
              <s>Call of Juarez Gunslinger</s> ($10)
              Resident Evil Revelations
              Reisdent Evil 6 (If it's $5)
<s>Omerta (price pending)</s> (Greenman had it for $7.50)
              Metro Last Light (price pending)
              Thomas was Alone
<s>Retro City Rampage</s> (Steam daily sale for $3.50)
<s>That platformer Mars game I can't remember the name of. Not Mars War Logs the other thing where you grow plants and stuff.</s> ($3 from GOG)
Bit Trip Runner 2 (price pending)

4 games down at $24 or an average of $6 per game.
              Plus I bought Hotline Miami.

Now for the others (yes I know to wait for daily and flash sales but just in case they're not on there)...

The Swapper - On sale for $11.24
Gunpoint - On sale for $9
Joe Danger pack - Price went UP,not on sale.
Resident Evil Revelations - Not on sale.
              Reisdent Evil 6 (If it's $5) - On sale for $26.79
Metro Last Light (price pending) - On sale for $40
Thomas was Alone - On sale for $2.50
Bit Trip Runner 2 (price pending) - On sale for $10.04
Final Fantasy 7 - Not on sale.

What's the deal with the cards? I collect all 10 then get a Steam Summer Sale badge?

I bought Don't Starve and Scribblenauts Unlimited so far. Waiting for some games on my wishlist to be cheaper. Anybody have any suggestions for other games I could buy?

Should update that steam sale video that several of us posted to have falling error codes instead of falling "% off's".

                            So... I'm weak.

Round 2 (already ) with the Summer Sale.

                            GRID ($3.74) Down from $14.99
                            Gnomoria ($3.99) Down from $7.99
                            Trine ($3.99) Down from $9.99
Trine 2: Complete Story ($7.99) Down from $19.99
Puzzle Quest ($3.99) Down from $9.99

Games I would highly recommend picking up at the sale prices:

                            FTL (50% off, $4.99)
Dungeons of Dredmor (75% off, $1.24)

Both of the above games are "Rogue-like" and will frustrate the **** out of you. Literally, the only reason they are made is to kill you. Both are fantastic at what they do.

Games I am thinking about purchasing right now, but waiting to see if they will go higher than 20-50% off:
                            Spoiler

                            I have a love/hate relationship with Steam's Summer Sale.
                            bad

I don't really understand the whole trading card thing. I read the FAQ, but when I look at my card lists I thought I was supposed to get a certain number of cards just for buying a game, and then a few more drop while I play it. To use an example, I just bought Don't Starve and didn't get any of it's game specific cards right away.

I think I understand the Steam Sale ones, though - was able to bounce a duplicate on the market for $1. The in-game drop ones make sense too - I've gotten a couple just from leaving Binding of Isaac running for about an hour.

by buying the game, you can get half the cards as "drops"(they will randomly appear in your inventory after some time playing the game).
