NS2 is a great game. Does Aliens a whole lot better than that Colonial Marines game. Does have a learning curve to it so be advised.

I guess only the summer sale cards will ever be valuable? The games are still going to be there later so you can still get them later. I've only been selling doubles. Do you still get booster packs if you don't have any cards? I'm only keeping them for that. Don't really care to get backgrounds and emoticons. If it was discounts on the DLC and stuff like that I'd think it was pretty great. Also wondering if they'll pop up offline and be counted when you reconnect? I'm uncomfortable playing with all those game rip mods and being connected.

Made a big mistake bought Deus Ex HE and Missing Link for 6.11!!!

should have scrolled down more before selecting it.

Could have gotten the whole Deus Ex series with all DLC for 5.99 pissing me off, wish I could refund and start over.

Looking around marketplace, it seems all cards have about the same value, though summer sale cards might go up after you can't get any more.

Steam just gave me a foil Reus card when voting for next game, current going price for that one is $1.50.

They're a game, you can craft sets of cards into basges that level up your Steam account. People buy them, I've sold many of my extras to finance buying the ones I'm missing. Just a couple cards from my 3rd summer sale badge.

Just another play on the collector/completionish in many gamers.

Indeed. It's a meta-game. You get a background, an emote and another card from that set when you complete a set (along with the leveling up of your account.)

I think the first time I completed my DotA 2 badge I also got a coupon to use, but haven't on any completed badges since.
