Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Between the summer sale and the sales in it's wake, I went from only owning Civ 5 and the DLC's, Skyrim, Fable TLC,Counterstrike, EUIII and Empire TW to having over 75 titles and I didn't even clip the $100 mark. Some are just retreads but I saved in a big way with bundles which are always nice. I think the most I paid for an individual game was $10. But with my new Alienware, need to set it through it's paces even though the older games won't really tax it.
I wanted to pick up Football Manager but it never hit the threshold that I wanted it to. Not that it's a bad game but knowing my interest level in soccer, I couldn't justify dropping the 25/30 level it dropped to. $10/15 likely would've done it. There's a few other games I'm watching and hopefully a future daily deal will bump it down.

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Football Manager was $9.99 twice during the Summer sale. That's when I picked it up. Also, Amazon and GMG have it for $13 once a month or so (just look for Sega deals).Between the summer sale and the sales in it's wake, I went from only owning Civ 5 and the DLC's, Skyrim, Fable TLC,Counterstrike, EUIII and Empire TW to having over 75 titles and I didn't even clip the $100 mark. Football Manager is the best sports game out on the market, soccer fan or not. Seriously, every sports game fan needs to play it.Comment

If it wasn't for FM, I wouldn't be a soccer fan today. For me, it's right behind baseball; that's how great the game is.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Yeah I wish Football manager wasnt soccer. I hate soccer so that is preventing me from getting it. A NFL equivalent would be amazing.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

I don't know about that Football Manger guy. He seems kind of evil.

Plenty of people have thought that before. Hell, I did years and years (and well over 20,000 hours of gameplay) ago. FM literally made me understand soccer tactics and enjoy the sport.badComment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I too looked at FM several times in the summer sale, but I just have next to no interest in Soccer. I love those management type games though, played several different ones in the past, racing ones, some Football ones(really long time ago). It's like Tycoon games, but with sports.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I got in on Far Cry addon (Blood dragon? I forget the name), Deus Ex HR for PC, and Dishonored before I lost wifi in Spain lol
Dishonored has been awesome, 3ish levels left I think. I never beat Deus Ex on 360, so looking forward to having it on PC again.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
