This was build I saw another site, and was wondering if there were any improvements that could be made to it in this price range. I am looking for performance that would be better than the PS4 and XB1.

Could I get away without the aftermarket cpu cooler recommended by this build?
Your parts list came up empty when I clicked the link. I don't think you posted the correct hyperlink.

Sorry, this is the correct one - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1NDKe

In addition to what I said in my last post, I also noticed this build was a micro type of build. I assume there might be some heat/noise issues and cable management issues considering the condensed space, correct?

This was build I saw another site, and was wondering if there were any improvements that could be made to it in this price range. I am looking for performance that would be better than the PS4 and XB1 by a noticable margin. If that isn't feasible within a $600-750 price range , I will just stick with my PS4 preorder.

Could I get away without the aftermarket cpu cooler recommended by this build? Also is the power supply is sufficient for that graphics card?
Are you opposed to Amazon Warehouse? You can get a 670 for the mid 250's or low 300's and that will Ultra anything on the market (it's what I got)

I'm not overly familar with non-Nvidia graphics cards since I'm new to the PC gaming myself.

If you're not opposed to refurbs, you could always check out eBay and look for the actual shops, that's how I got my computer and it's worked beautifully (I only upgraded from a 640 to a 670).

I'd definitely say to keep your options open, hopefully someone with more PC knowledge can come around to help out a bit more.

??? I thought you said you got your code after you changed your email in another thread.

I just tried the link again and it sent me the code. Keep trying.

Edit: Nevermind, I see the board has been rolled back for some reason.

What do you guys think of this build? This build has the OS included and I would be using my tv for a monitor.

                        CPU: Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($175.98 @ SuperBiiz)

                        Motherboard: ASRock B75M-DGS R2.0 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($58.98 @ SuperBiiz)

                        Memory: Kingston Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($48.96 @ NCIX US)

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ Microcenter)

Video Card: Video Card: HIS Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card ($199.99 @ Newegg)

Case: NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($35.94 @ Amazon)

Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($54.99 @ Microcenter)

                        Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($17.98 @ Outlet PC)

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($88.98 @ Outlet PC)

                        Total: $741.79

Would this most likely beat out next gen consoles, even with the optimization advantage for consoles? That is what is holding me back from pulling trigger, since next gen consoles will outperform their raw specs on paper.

Wait a month for the new AMD stuff and the prices will drop on what's out now or get one of those even. There's a $200 card in the new stuff, not sure if it's comparable to that though.

That's a very good setup but I would also recommend waiting if you can for the price drops.

Are AMD's CPU's worth it though, despite the lower prices? I originally had an AMD CPU in my build due to lower cost, but I read some benchmarking articles, which made it seem like Intel outperformed the AMD's by a sizable margin. I could get a better graphics card if I went with a AMD CPU, just concerned about what I have read about them.

I was thinking about waiting for prices to possible drop as you guys have suggested. Are they expected to drop within the next month (before PS4 releases)?
