How is co-op in PoE, 6 players isnt it? Worth trying as noobs to the game at a LAN?

I tried out PoE for about 3 1/2 hours last night. so far I'm enjoying it. chose the duelist and have been switching between bow and dual-wielding daggers. I've died a few times, mostly because I wasn't paying attention to my health and ran into battle with low health.

got my character to level 10, all solo so far. I planned to focus mostly on str/dex build and bow first, then go in with dual wielding melee to finish off. so far I've mostly got bonuses to Dex and archery damage. so right now it's Dex heavy on stats.

Want to get Amnesia for Halloween. Thinking of firing up Left 4 Dead 2 as well.

The demo sold me on the game. Possibly the best writing in a game this year. I've been playing through it a few times a night over the past week just to see the outcomes based on your choices.

While games like Bioshock Infinite and GTA V have been great, I think I've had a more fun time with both Gone Home and The Stanley Parable this year.

You know Steam owns you when you wait for a sale (in this case Amnesia) only to get to checkout and realize I already own it. Smh. Has happened more times than I'd like to admit.

For anyone interested, I have a -33% off coupon for Foul Play (stacks with the 50% Halloween discount) and a -25% off coupon for Volgarr the Viking (good til' Nov 16). No trades required but if you want to trade I am still collecting Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2 and Skyrim cards.
