I think I'm going to upgrade my 580 to a 780....going to skip on the 800's and do a proper PC upgrade in maybe 3 or 4 years? Tech moves fast....

Exciting time to be a PC gamer....G-sync and AMD mantle....man....then there's the 4k monitors waiting to be unleashed....

I bought the 770 back in May when they released. I'm already itching for a card with more VRAM like the 780 at 4gb and more power. But I only game at 1080p which so far the 770 has been great.

Yeah unfortunately 780 doesn't come with 4gb but the new 780ti comes with 3gb, 6gb and a whopping 12gb variants. I looked at the 780ti version and the price is too steep for me....so I'm good with the order I made for the 780 3gb....I just wish that amazon didn't tax....so I got it off newegg which was about 40 bucks cheaper...

I look forward to getting my hands on it next week!

Had a lot of fun with Damned tonight at our LAN. Not sure how PUG games are, but good times with friends for sure, lol.

Probably a couple of F-Bombs, you've been warned.

          <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/3dK8xiO-EtM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Context: I'm already dead, and you can't hear me for some reason. This was captured using NVIDIA's new Shadowplay stuff, pretty neat other than it not recording me. Sometimes when the picture seems to jump it's because I'm going between the two people who are left alive. Be sure to up the resolution on the video, very dark game.

Choose from thousands of games for PC, Mac, Linux, and Android while supporting a charity of your choice. New games added every day!

Humble Store launched today. Yet another way to add dirt cheap games to your backlog. Rogue Legacy, Gunpoint, Don't Starve and The Swapper are on sale today. If for some reason you don't have them go buy them now.

Also Chivalry is on sale. jyoung will say you should probably buy that one.

                        Finally played Gone Home.

Cool game, just really short IMO. I was expecting 3ish hours, but I did pretty much everything in like 90 minutes.

Story was somewhat predictable too, but hopefully we see more games like this.

I'd recommend playing, just if you can get it cheap!

Good find. I'm gonna pick up rouge legacy and maybe prison architect. I know it's a early access game but it looks pretty cool, anyone have some impressions on it?

                            Prison Architect or Rogue Legacy?

Prison Architect is fun... but I don't know if it's worth the price yet. It has a lot of potential though.

Rogue Legacy, on the other hand... That game is a blast and well worth the price on the Humble Store. Heck, I streamed it last night for a good... 3-4 hours maybe? There were 3 of us in my Twitch chat and it was honestly some of the most fun I've had gaming in a long time just BSing about all the stupid **** that happens in that game.

I meant Prison Architect. I ended up picking both up because I couldn't resist honestly, but I'm pretty late to the indie game scene. Just got hotline Miami last week (awesome game).

I've had my eye on Rouge Legacy for awhile just missed the sales it looks like so much fun though. Is It best played with a controller? Every video I've seen has been played with a 360 controller.

This is somewhat unrelated but the one indie game I really want is Octodad. That game looks absolutely hilarious to play.

Yup, Rogue Legacy is awesome with a controller. Haven't played it without, nor would I enjoy trying.

There's other games for you to try out as well, if you wanna check out some "indie" type games. I'm working on a spreadsheet of games that I feel are worthwhile to me. It was done for another member of OS, but everyone's willing to look at it. Eventually I'm going to get a blog started just to write down my thoughts about gaming.

Here's the Spreadsheet . Again, this is by no means "Hey you gotta play these" but they are games that are well-polished for being "smaller" releases and I think are at least worth a merit of looking at.
