I can't wait for this to release and looking at the recommended specs I should be able to max this game out.

Surprised no one has posted this yet but GOG.com is making its own optional client called Galaxy. They released a short trailer to announce it on its page.

Connect GOG GALAXY 2.0 with other gaming platforms and bring together games you play and the friends you play them with in one powerful app. With GOG GALAXY 2.0 you won't have to juggle between multiple clients to access your games and see what your friends are playing. Join the Open Beta and help us shape the app!

Also if you preorder the Witcher 3 on GOG.com and you own either (or both) of the previous games you can get a discount. Best part is that you don't even need to own them on GOG.com.All did was enter my two Steam codes for Witcher 1&2 onto this page (http://www.gog.com/thewitcher3/en) and they give you the GOG.com versions of them plus the discount.

Videoball is still looking good, but it still lacks a release date:

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread

So I was playing some insurgency tonight (was in beast mode 8-0, 18-12, 12-2 rounds). I suddenly start getting excessive ping warnings which I thought was funny because my internet is incredible. So I get booted from the game and I thought it might of been deliberate by the admin or something. I run to speed test.net to test my connection just to be sure.

YUP!!!!! It was not because of my internet

well, your ping to that server could have been bad. It depends on where the server is located at.

I doubt it, Dallas to Lafayette is extremely close ping wise.

Ping spikes can always happen(or server possibly getting overloaded). I've seen it playing on Dayz servers located in Dallas.

But wouldn't you see the entire server see a increase in ping if the server was experiencing a ping spike?

not necessarily, it might not have effected everyone.

For a personal home connection it is pretty fantastic. Plus at only $44 a month it is a hell of a steal. Price has risen but I got grandfathered in at this price because I was one of the first adapters.
