Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
There was a post on Reddit the other day comparing Steam Sales to Pokemon. Most people just buy the games to add to their collection and never end up playing all of them.
Hell, I did that with Bastion last night. Played through it twice on 360, but it was $2.50 so I figured I'd buy it just in case I ever wanted to go back to it.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Agreed! Look at what 2k has done with the NBA series. Here's a half-*** port with mod capability. Every year I get the new NBA 2k on PC and every year the net version becomes my second favorite basketball game ever (forever behind CH2k8). Oh, and the fact they sell it for less than half of the console price, its a win-win.
Just look at MVP baseball...all EA needs to do is port everything over and allow mods (like the FIFA-series on PC).Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
My current Steam Summer Sales purchases.
Skyrim Legendary - $13
Farcry 3 - $7
Dishonored - $5
Splinter Cell Blacklist - $7
You Need a Budget 4 - $15
Edit: Hoping Prison Architect is community pick in 30 min! Damn just seen it didn't.....bummer
Has anyone won a free game yet? I'm on red team and we have won multiple days in a row and I've received nothing

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Yeah, these Steam sales and just PC gaming in general always has me rethinking buying console games at full price. Now granted I am part of the BBY Gamer's Unlocked Club which I paid $30 for 2 years. It gives me all new releases at $47, but you can't beat these PC sales if you wait a bit.
So far with the Summer sale I've picked up the following, I've been pretty good. LOL!
The Walking Dead Season 2
The Wolf Among UsComment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
So far I've picked up mostly stuff that I have on the 360, but realize will disappear when I get rid of it at some point. Not everything I've bought this sale though:
DuckTales Remastered
Skyrim Legendary
Can't Stop Laughing Bundle (Castle Crashers/Battleblock Theater)
Just Cause 2
Awesomenauts
Bastion
FarCry 3: Blood Dragon
L.A. Noire
Star Wars: KOTOR II
Thinking about picking up Transistor and I want Super Meat Boy, but I missed that chance earlier.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment
