Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
KoTR doesn't have controller support and there is a different mod for widescreen. BTW, here's some links you need to check out:

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
So I bought Payday 2 when it was a flash sale at the beginning and I find it very intriguing. I obviously suck at it right now since everything ends in a firefight with SWAT, but its fun either way. Y'all should check it out sometime. Seems like a fun game to play co-op with friends as well.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I didn't realize there was a Chivalry expansion pack out, so I will have to check that out for just $3.
But yeah, the main game is still one of the best multiplayer products on STEAM. It's basically Braveheart, the game.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I'm a sucker for sales even though I know I won't play any of these in the next 12-18 months. So far have grabbed the below.
- Injustice God's Among Us
- Banished
- Fahrenheit (gog)
- Papers Please (gog)
- Monaco
- Tomb Raider
Think it was like $15-$16 all up. Paid full price for Banished plus a tip at the devs site as wanted to support him given he's a single guy doing it all.
I love the fact I can spend $50 during these sales and come away with 10+ quality games versus a single console purchase.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
First time I've taken part in a steam sale (just built a gaming PC a little over a year ago but haven't had much time to play much yet so decided might as well build up a backlog), I got:
Witcher 2 - $3.99
Don't Starve - $3.74
State of Decay - $4.99 (Breakdown $1.74 & Lifeline $4.68 as well)
Gone Home - $4.99
Rogue Legacy - $3.74
The Stanley Parable - $5.99
Marlow Briggs - $0.99
Witcher 2 is really the only one I'm in any kind of a rush to get to but nice to get a bunch of games cheap to get around to whenever.Favorite Teams:

NFL- Cleveland Browns
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
NBA- Boston Celtics
NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
My final haul was:
Castle Crashers/Battleblock Theater bundle
Kentucky Route Zero
Nidhogg
Metro Last Light
Rayman Legends
Bastion
Wolfenstein: New Order
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Was considering Black Flag, but by the time I have a chace to play it, I can probably get it for $10 in the winter sale.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
got more games I probably wont get to for a while.
Divinity: Original Sin - game looks promising, I think it "officially" releases tomorrow. once the mods start to come out, this should become a great game. Played a bit of it today, good so far. Probably wont do too much as I think characters/save will not work when the release version is released.
7 days to Die
Shadowrun returns - played a bit last night. A fun "old school-like" turn-based RPG.
Dragon Age: Origin - Ultimate edition. already owned it, but some of the DLC I didn't have and at $7.49, It would be cheaper to buy the Ultimate edition from Steam than to buy the DLCs from Origins.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum. I owned it, but no clue where it's at. now It's digital.
Far Cry Pack. never played the series, got all for a good price at once.
Banished
Batman Arkham Origins. got the other Batman games, still haven't played them.
Star War: KoToR 2. I owned it, no idea where it's at now. now digital.
a few EUIV DLCs I haven't bought yet.
Star Wars Battlefront II. have it on Xbox, at $3, good price to get the PC version.
Asetto Corsa, looks to be a good racer.
sadly, there were probably others that I forgot about. I know there were a couple times I clicked on a game to potentially buy only to see I own it already.Last edited by Solidice; 06-29-2014, 07:42 PM.Comment
