Not bad for a supposedly dead genre.
The only reason the genre was ever called dead was because, in terms of "CRPG" games, nothing worthwhile got released in the past... 10 or so years? I'd have to look at a hard list of dates, but it's been a long time since a good (or better) CRPG got a release.

Everyone else was just trying to cash in on TES money.

So here's a n00b ? ...what's a decent laptop out there that will run games pretty well?

I'm not talking Skyrim or Crysis or anything like that...mainly stuff like WoW, Minecraft, etc.

Finally...a "next gen" sports game is coming to the PC. Surprisingly, its from EA Sports. FIFA 15 is coming to the PC with the same core features as the PS4/XBONE version. If true, this could be a game changer for sports on the PC.

            Read the news here: http://www.easports.com/fifa/news-up...atures-info-pc

I hope it sells very well to show EA that PC gamers like sports games. I know I'm going to pre-order both PS4/PC versions.

RPG fans, y'all seen Insomnia on Kickstarter? Here's the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...s?ref=category

$15 gets you DRM and Steam versions of the game. It looks pretty promising and 20-hrs of gameplay estimated (with add'l free addons planned), the game may be worth it. I'm still digging into it.

How do the Humble Bundles work? https://www.humblebundle.com/

Do you have to beat the final average? Or do you just have to beat what it is at the time? Wondering if I just screwed myself out of $5.14...

You pay what you want, and a little more to meet whatever benchmark at a time, like 'more than $5.14 for these 3 games', 'more than $20 for these game'. Final result doesn't matter, games are yours either way.

Rule #1 of Humble Bundles is never buy them until the full lineup of games is revealed.

Rule #2 of Humble Bundle, check your bank account for several months after purchasing. They charged me 4 times over and over for one bundle I bought. The shady part is the charges were months apart. I now no longer buy from them.

Good to know. So early bird gets the worm? Since the average will keep going up. I paid through PayPal so I will get an email if they ever try to charge me again.

Why? They just emailed me that more games were added and I got to download them for free.

From my experience, doesn't matter when you purchase. If more are added, you still get them.

Have to disagree here, as long as you know you want the games already bundled, buy early because the average just keeps going up.

Well that worked out. I wanted Spec Ops during the Steam Sale and forgot to buy it. Ended up getting it for $5.14 instead of $9.99. Plus maybe I can sell or give away keys for the other games.
