Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Torchlight 2 is a fun time waster when they put it on sale.Need some help from you Steam vets as I am a newb. Have not PC gamed since 97, so out of the loop, but just purchased the Alpha to get back into things. What are some of the better games over the last few years you would recommend to play that did not make their way out to the consoles? Action, adventure, RPG, horror, indie, or anything that stood out that I just have to play. Thanks.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
I'm not sure Divinity: Original Sin is good for someone just getting back into PC gaming. Games like Divinity, Wasteland, etc. are a different kind of RPG. I think he'd be better off starting w/ Torchlight and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing type RPGs.
You are correct though, Divinity is one of the best RPGs in recent memory and should be in the running for GOTY.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Tried to use my PX4 headset on my computer... holy cow the disappointment. Have to connect via Bluetooth to chat on Vent and the quality it sooooo bad. Need to get the optical out working (or find an analog) to see if the game audio is at least passable.
Very disappointed in this purchase so far.Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
lol, so using https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...enigjmpp?hl=en I can easily do my World of Warcraft follower missions all day from just a web browser. Can do it from my phone too. Pretty awesome.
Mouse look seems a little hosed and not sure why, but i park at the mission table anyways so just need to be able to click on that, the complete button and then assign new missions.Comment
