I use pinnacle as it has profiles you download so I don't have to waste time setting anything up.

    Paid program though.

Pinnacle Game Profiler is probably the best option; however, Xpadder provides a free alternative w/o the ability to download specific game profiles (set them up yourself).

        Thanks for the input fellas.

With the free trial available, I'll give Pinnacle a go tomorrow. I'll gladly pay the small fee for it if it provides solid results.

Valve's Paid Skyrim Mods Are A Legal, Ethical and Creative Disaster (Forbes).

Valve and Bethesda’s announcement of a jointly run paid Skyrim mods store has been met by nothing but fury from fans over the past 24 hours. Even modders, whom the idea is supposed to benefit, are coming out against the idea, which they deem detrimental to the entire community.

It should be good news. Now modders have an official way to get paid through a partnership program when before most were getting nothing and many were squeaking by on a few donations alone. But in practice, Valve/Bethesda’s Skyrim mod store is an absolutely terrible idea for reasons that are already becoming clear even in the first day after launch. Let’s go through the issues fans and modders themselves are bringing up.
Also, introducing in-game pop up mod ads.

I hope people rage enough to change it, but I doubt it will matter. They will get nothing extra from me.

Yeah paying for mods is taking it too much. Hell, I feel bad for buying DLC half the time.

Considering I own a 5820K and GTX 980 with 16GB DDR4 of RAM, yes, it is better, way better to be honest. But if you just want 1080p gaming then I would go with your 1st choice. Hell you don't even need a 980 for just 1080p. You could just swap that out for a 960 4GB model or R9 280.

Really just comes down to how much you willing to spend and what resolution you are seeking. You don't have to spend that much for 1080p.

I do have a 4K tv so playing in higher res would be nice but not totally required

$2,200. Only because I had to replace the monitor. So without the monitor it would have been around $1,800. Got it all from Amazon.

Yep yep. Comes in handy using Adobe Premiere because that alone uses 9GB of RAM when I am rendering something. Some other render and graphics related programs uses more then that.
