I did just buy The Witcher 2 Advanced Edition for the $3 price tag.

Ok I am having problems with my PC connection to the internet. Every since we have moved to the new apartment its been a problem. I posted this in the Arma thread but I thought I post it here as well:

The option I may try is a Powerline adapter. Only probelm is where our Modem is theres a 2 plug Power Surge adapter pluged into them and Powerlines only work well when plugged into the actual wall outlet. Im going to need to use a power strip for that and use the other plug for the adapter. In my room I have a power strip but problem being is I dont think I got enough plugs at the out let to get everything into one power strip and free up a wall outlet and I am not sure if you can plug a power strip into another power strip.

Figured I post my problem here since its the Computer gaming thread.

I recently bought GTA V a couple days ago and it installed and played fine for about a hour or two. Now when I launch the game my PC goes from 0% usage to 100% usage. Its really starting to irritate me a lot.

Anyone know any fixes?

Figured I post my problem here since its the Computer gaming thread.

What are your PC specs ? Might want to turn down some settings.

I thought so as well but the thing is it ram great for the first hour or two I was playing it. No stuttering, very smooth, etc.

It didn't start doing it until after my play session and the next day when I started it back up.

You might have had something updating in the background like Java or a windows update or a Steam game itself could have been updating itself.

Already been watching it for couple months now. Its like a cross between ARMA and Insurgency, more focused on PvP. Interested in seeing how it will come out.

Ok guys I was running into problems with my games. Basically I would run Arma 3 and GTA V and I would get incredible amount of stuttering which was odd since I never had that before. I mean bad, my CPU usage would jump to 100%, my PC would crawl to a snails pace and I would get 3-5 FPS in these games.

Well I was looking online and found this guy that had a similar problem on his laptop. Someone there suggested he go and activate the High Power Option under his Display settings and it worked. I though what the hell I will try it and sure enough I started up Arma and I am getting 60 FPS now.

Wtf? Has anyone even heard of anything like this happening to them or someone else. Not sure why that worked.

Maybe not as extreme as 3-5 fps but there is a pretty big significance between 'balanced' or 'power saver' and 'high performance' power options. What might have happened was your dedicated gpu wasn't kicking in due to power saver and you were running on integrated graphics.

Well apparently not. My PC just blue screened and shut off. I have no idea why these problems started.

Just bought all three Batman games for under $15.

As if I'll ever play them. I keep digging myself deeper.

It was bad enough with my PS4, but having a PC is killing me.
