Wish Dragon Age was a little cheaper, would probably double dip and get that for PC, just for the multiplayer.

I thought about it, but it's going to be on EA Access later this year and I can sacrifice playing it on the XBone for $25 less.

I've been playing a lot of Splash Damage's new FPS Dirty Bomb ever since it went into open Beta on STEAM. It's a return to their Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory style of class-based, objective-focused gameplay, only this time, without any of the parkour from Brink, or any of the vehicles and openness of Quake Wars. It's just old-school strafing and corridor shooting. The only movement mechanic they brought over from Brink is wall jumping.

                    <iframe width="540" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/SE2aIAlZUTs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Dirty Bomb's definitely worth checking out since it's free. Splash Damage added a 6th prototype map this weekend but it's exclusive to a new game mode called Extraction that's basically a Counter-Strike ripoff. I don't recommend trying that one. Stick to Stopwatch mode for the best experience. That's the style of gameplay Splash Damage has been doing for over a decade now.

Correct, there's no campaign and no bots, just head-to-head online multiplayer.

Their servers are pretty good. I get around 20-30 ping most nights. And the game is very scalable so it's easy to achieve 60 FPS or better.

I mostly switch between playing medic (on offense), proxy (on defense), and skyhammer (on vehicle escort missions). Those air strikes will take down vehicles real fast and insta-gib anyone nearby.

Any of y'all have/play Tennis Elbow 2013? I've played the demo and enjoyed the gameplay, but I'd like to hear from someone who can talk about the depth of the game (career mode, mods, etc.).

BTW, I am not a tennis fan, but am a sports gaming fan.

I got the BenQ XL2420G G-synch monitor yesterday. It's honestly a game changer.

I recently upgraded to a 970 FTW+ and noticed that my 60hz monitor was causing tearing and stuttering still as it couldn't keep up with the frame fluctuations. I decided to upgrade. Now it's not an IPS or a 4k but I am not really ready hardware wise for those resolution, but what it does is amazing.

The G-synch tech is remarkable. The hitching and stuttering are gone. You have to see it yourselves to understand the differences. As long as you can maintain a 40+ FPS on your game it's as smooth as butter. The fluctuations from 144-40 FPS no longer cause hitches in game play at all.

I can play The Witcher 3 with hairworks on now and I can't tell when the frames dip. The only time there seems to be a slowdown is when it goes below 40 and that was with me fighting 8 wolves. I can honestly take off the Frame Counter and I would never tell the difference.

It's a great upgrade for those wanting to take the plunge.

I have an older benq (xl2720z) that doesn't do g sync but it's still amazing, I never knew how big a difference the monitor could make. Basically zero input lag and 144z refresh rate is awesome. The image quality for a tn panel is still pretty good and can look very nice with some minor calibrations

I highly recommend it as well
