Would love too here soon. Just got to download the mods, make sure Arma runs decently again (before it was bad when it was overheating), etc.

Busy time of the year at work and in a madden league but I'm sure there be at the least a day or so I can get on with you guys.

Classic Dreamcast JRPG Grandia 2 now available on Steam, and is $15 until August 31 (goes up to $20 after).

BTW, the Megaman collection is damn fun. I got it on PS4 (trophies!) and would probably be playing it nonstop if Madden wasn't out. As it is, I've been diving into the challenge mode which throws the Blue Bomber into mashups of the various areas and gives you a time limit. Most are parts of actual stages from the games, but there are also Boss rushes and Wily battles (without E Tanks!). I'm already dreading some of the last few which are currently locked - one is a disappearing block mashup and another is EVERY BOSS from the first 6 games, WITHOUT ITEMS!

The games themselves are perfect re-creations, right down to the slowdown effect the NES was notorious for when things got too busy on-screen.

It's also chock full of character concept art that any longtime fan of the series would appreciate.

Resident Evil hasn't had a good entry since 4. At this rate, it's only a matter of time before Capcom goes the way of Konami and gets out of gaming altogether. Dead Rising 3 and Street Fighter 5 probably wouldn't have even existed if they weren't partially funded by first parties who are desperate for system exclusives. Monster Hunter's continued dominance in Japan is likely the only thing keeping them alive at the moment. And most of the people who helped make Capcom into the juggernaut that it was in the 1980s and 1990s left the company a long time ago.
I just want to point out that The Evil Within is a Bethesda joint...

Picked up OOTP on Steam this weekend. Went to start up a game and got through all of the basic setup screens. I go to enter my name, first name and then tab down to last name. I press "Shift+W" to start and it locks things up with what appears to be some type of Steam notification area (sorry, new to Steam). I try clicking to go back to the game, try Shift+Tab, try to close the window...none of it works. It's a brand new machine with Windows 10.

Anyone else have this happen? Is there a way to avoid it? After trying 6 times, I finally was able to proceed but had to mouse-click in the last name field instead. Since tabbing is so common for me, I'd like to find a fix...

Shift+Tab is the default way to go to the Steam overlay while in game. So you have to be careful if you're typing to fast and hit both at the same time.

To get rid of the overlay, there's a link at the top that says "Click here to return to game". Just click it and you're good to go. Some games you can Shift+Tab back to your game, but it doesn't work for all.

Yep...Unless there's mega-delay on my keyboard, I'm definitely not accidentally holding both down. I even suspected that and hit the Shift key by itself in-game. I don't remember the exact scenario but it did the same thing. I've also tried clicking the link that you refer to but nothing happens. I can't even close the window to restart the program. The only thing I can do is open up the Task Manager and end it from there. Doesn't say that it's not responding but it's the only thing that works.

OddWorld: Abe's Oddysee is free on Steam for about 11 more hours:

Selected by the fickle finger of fate, Abe™, floor-waxer first class for RuptureFarms, was catapulted into a life of adventure when he overheard plans by his boss, Molluck the Glukkon™, to turn Abe and his fellow Mudokons into Tasty Treats as part of a last-ditch effort to rescue Molluck's failing meat-packing empire.

This is the old, 1997 game, not the re-make. Still, I've never played it so I'll give it a shot.
