Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
This was all I cared about for E3 to be honest. Glad it is around the corner. Being able to play future XBox games on PC was just icing on the cake. Good times now and ahead for us in the master race.

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Ok Guys I am having an issue with my Samsung 850 Pro 512gb ssd
I used it after i bought it for my xbox one as an external and all was fine and games booted quick. Issue is that earlier today I went to xb1 dash board and decided to swap the SSD from side USB to the back to hid the enclosure
When I went to plug it in it would not recognize it any longer. I disconnected it and connected it and all ports and nothing. I rebooted the console and nothing. I even did a factory reset on xbox and nothing. It recognizes USB media but not external drive.
So I turned on my old laptop and installed the disc that came with the ssd and i am not sure what I might had done but my drive all of a sudden showed no gb used and 470gb available when it is to be 512gb
I did not put to much stock in it but then tried it again on the xbox and nothing. I tried it on my other xbox and nothing.
So I went and installed it on my PS4 and it erased all and started fresh on ps4 but it has much less space then it should. I have tried this drive on ps4 last week when i got it and it had after what sony takes to use for the OS it remained from 512gb to about 460 or so. But now it starts with just 369gb
No way it can go from 512gb to 369....
Any idea what I might have done or can it be fixed?Comment

Re: OS Steam and Computer Gaming Thread
Yeah I hosted a party just so all my friends could try one. I haven't used it a ton since for a variety of reasons (sick, haven't been into some of the recent titles, and reduced my footprint back to standing rather than room-scale) but no regrets about picking it up.
That being said, really looking forward to future headsets with higher resolution. Sure it's neat watching some of a movie on a massive virtual screen, but you can't play games traditional games for the most part in the same setting because the resolution is too low and you lose all the text in a game like World of Warcraft.Comment

Nice. My concern is just how much use I'll get out of it. If Project Cars vr implementation turns out to be solid and if there are a few other games that are great, I feel like I could get a lot of use out of it.Comment
