Time to learn. Find your mobo model number and download the manual if you do not have it now. It will have all the info needed to update and more. You should be able to use the live update under utilities for bios updating, otherwise you may need to DL it to USB flash drive and load.

I tried the live update and it says to please install winki from msi driver disk. Also how do I find the model number and download the manual? On my phone?

I would try and update it over USB if you can download the bios update from another PC from the MSI site. You should find the model number of the mobo under one of the tabs on the bios. Likely the settings tab.

Flight I have the same case and similar video card. Only difference is I went with an AMD processor and you went with Intel. Here is a shot of the case finished.

Did you get anywhere yet? You should be able to find the model number of your MOBO in the bios itself. Once you find that go to MSI's site and search by model number. Then go to BIOS updates and find the most recent. You should be able to download that to a USB drive and extract the files there. Then boot into the BIOS and update from there. If you are still confused just youtube update MSI bios.

Looks good!! I'm up and running and can't believe the difference between PC and Console. Downloaded The Golf Club 2 and it looks and runs amazingly smooth. The mouse is very uncomfortable right now but I'm not switching to a controller. Using my LG 4K monitor and I'm just blown away

Grabbed Players Unknown and I've only seen it on Streams and Twitch and again I'm just in awe!!

I think I'm going grab Elite: Dangerous and roll with those 3 for a while. What I hope to accomplish is for the PC honeymoon period to last long enough so I can break completely away from console gaming other than the Switch.

A huge thanks to everyone that shared advice and tips to make the dream of owning a gaming pc a reality for me. Thank you!

Once I am home I will. Thanks for everyones help.

Im about to pay one of you geniuses to just take my pc, upgrade it and ship it back. Its old so i been wanting to upgrade anyway.

Im not sure what I should keep out of this pc though.

Reposting this since no one answered. What do you guys do about a Windows 10 install on a new build? Can you reuse a key from another, older unused computer? The price of a Windows 10 copy destroys my pricing.

Can someone please build me a 4k capable PC with about 1000 bucks?

Dont need a monitor. My RAM should be good as well. Im sure my PSU is fine as well. I have a i7 proccessor that I believe is fine. Its a 3770k @ 3.50 ghz.
